From September 15th through October 15th, both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World are celebrating Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month.

Mirabel
We’ve already started the celebration with over 50 New Snacks coming to Disney parks. In Disney World, we got the additions of two members of the Madrigal family, Bruno and Mirabel (Mirabel has a meet-and-greet and Bruno joined the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade). But, the West Coast might have won this round with this NEW spooky sipper.
When it comes to coffee and cold brew, it’s not every day we’re hesitant to try the latest concoction.
However, when we heard Disneyland was selling a Banana Cream Cold Brew, we were a little worried. Banana mixed with cold brew does not sound naturally appetizing so we were curious how the two would blend together. We tried it and the result was definitely shocking!
We give you plenty of reasons all the time to visit EPCOT …

EPCOT
… but rarely do we caution you from it. Even though all of the Communicore Hall construction, Food and Wine festival crowds, and whatever’s been going on with the construction in the World Showcase lagoon getting ready for the new nighttime show — Luminous The Symphony of Us, can make your next visit less than desirable, we’ve got a feeling about one particular day soon that you might not mind sitting out. Disney hotels are growing and changing, and we’ve been watching them to keep up with all the updates.

Disneyland Hotel DVC tower
Disneyland Hotel is adding some Disney Vacation Club Villas to the property, and along with that change, we’ll be getting a very special addition. The Disneyland Hotel has been around since 1955 so it’s great to see it expanding for more guests.
If you love Moana, then you’re probably just like the rest of us and anticipating October 16th, when Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana officially opens in EPCOT.
Cast Member previews for the new attraction have come and gone, and currently, Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members are previewing the walk-through attraction. Over the weekend, EPCOT reached park capacity, and well… things didn’t go to plan with the attraction queue. The standby line got so long that Disney decided around 10AM to switch to a virtual queue in order to mitigate the high crowds. Now, though, things have changed AGAIN.
If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, you’ve no doubt already started to think about where you want to stay.
If you’re on a budget, you may be looking at Disney’s value resorts, which include Disney’s All-Star Resorts, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. But believe it or not, not all value resorts are the same, and the biggest differences have nothing to do with theming. Now, Art of Animation is a beautifully-themed resort, but there’s something you need to know about it: It may not be a great value, despite what you’ve been told.
Disney is giving another opportunity for Florida residents to give back and drive in style.

Magic Kingdom
Disney has been granting wishes alongside Make-A-Wish for more than 40 years. Disney Chairman Josh D’Amaro joined the Make-A-Wish board earlier this year and the Royal Ball during World Princess Week was held in collaboration with the Make-A-Wish. Disney is once again partnering with Make-A-Wish to raise even more money for a great cause.
Back in February, Bob Iger announced that the Walt Disney Company would undergo a restructuring, causing $5.5 billion in spending cuts.
As a part of this overhaul, 7,000 job cuts went into motion, and many lost their jobs in the following months. In March, the company laid off more than 300 employees in China who were working on its streaming services. Now, those layoffs are creating more questions as malfunctions affect the company’s streaming programs.
