In a world filled with soooo much speculation at the moment, let’s talk straight facts!
We’re going to share with you the official words that are coming straight from the Mouse’s mouth regarding every Disney theme park as it currently stands! We’ve got the whole world to cover — so let’s get started!
First Up, Disney World!
As of yesterday, reservations are now being canceled through the end of May and the Disney World website still says the parks will be closed “until further notice.”
At the time of writing, you can still book a Disney World vacation starting June 1st, but Disney hasn’t announced if the parks will be open at that time. If you are a Disney Vacation Club Member, reservations can currently be made through the DVC website as well.

And Now Disneyland!
Disneyland is also “closed until further notice” and also announced it would be canceling all of its bookings through May 31st yesterday, BUT…
…unlike Disney World, their website is only allowing folks to book vacations starting July 1st. Originally, Disneyland was taking reservations for June 1st, but as of yesterday Disneyland has pushed their reservations back by a month.

Disney has also pulled back the grand opening date of Avengers Campus.
While not officially announced if the date has been postponed, phase one of this new land was set to open in Disney California Adventure on July 18th. Now, the Disneyland website states that the land is “coming soon.”

Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris still remains closed until further notice after closing down in mid-March. Prior to yesterday, Disneyland Paris had canceled all reservations before June 30th and offered a refund or voucher. Now their website states their offer has extended into mid-July.
They’ve also announced that the grand opening of Disney’s Hotel New York, Disneyland Paris’s new Marvel-themed hotel, which was originally scheduled to open June 15th, will be postponed “until further notice.” The new hotel was set to open before Disneyland Paris’ new Avengers Campus (similar to the one being built at Disney California Adventure Park in Disneyland Resort).

Shanghai Disneyland
While most Disney parks are extending their temporary closures, Shanghai Disneyland has announced an official reopening date.
Shanghai Disneyland will reopen on May 11th and many new safety measures will be put in place. Fireworks and parades will not be offered right away and play areas will be closed off for the time being. Characters will also meet in a new way. We’ll be watching how Shanghai Disneyland operates once it opens back up to get a better understanding of what safety measures could possibly be introduced here in the States!

Tokyo Disneyland
We’re still waiting on word from Toyko Disneyland, which has remained unchanged for some time. Currently, their website is still stating an update will be announced by mid-May!
Japan’s Prime Minister recently extended the stay at home order he had previously issued for the entire country until the end of May, which could play a significant role in when they can begin to reopen! We’ll keep you posted with this one!
Hong Kong Disneyland
Hong Kong Disneyland has been pretty quiet lately, but according to their website, Disney’s Hollywood Hotel and Explorers Lodge are now accepting reservations for May 15th and after.
A character meal also recently reopened at one of the hotels, while the rest of Hong Kong Disneyland Park remains tight-lipped and closed until further notice like the rest of ’em!

Disney Cruise Line
And it looks like we won’t be sailing aboard the Disney Cruise Line any time soon. They have canceled all cruises well into the summer.
We also learned straight from the head honchos that Disney is expecting the Disney Cruise Line to be one of the last guest experiences to its resume operations. This was a topic that was discussed on the recent earnings call, along with Disney’s current financial foothold which you can read more about here!

Adventures by Disney
Recently, Adventures by Disney Cruise packages were been canceled through July 26th.
Impacted guests may transfer the cost of their trip to another Adventures by Disney experience, or receive a refund. Bookings for 2021 Adventures by Disney trips remain available at this time.
