'Muppets Haunted Mansion' Is Taking Over Muppet*Vision 3D In Disney World

Halloween is in full spooky swing at the Disney parks.

As part of this season, a new Muppets Haunted Mansion Halloween special is coming to Disney+ on October 8th. The show will feature original songs, celebrity appearances, and, of course, lots of Muppets. You can watch the official trailer for it now. But Disney+ isn’t the only place where you’ll see Haunted Mansion Muppets — it’s planning to take over a popular Disney World attraction’s pre-show as well!

In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can find the Muppet*Vision 3D attraction, which features Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and a lot of other Muppet friends. They’ll take guests on a tour of their lab to show you their new technology, Muppet*Vision 3D.

Before you head into the ride, though, you’ll be greeted by Scooter, Gonzo, some construction workers, and more Muppets during the ride’s pre-show. But this pre-show is about to get a whole lot spookier! Disney has announced that some “exclusive content” from Muppets Haunted Mansion will be added to the show starting October 1st.

We can’t wait to see what the new Haunted Mansion-themed content will be in the show! But that’s not all that’s coming to the Disney parks in celebration of the Muppets Haunted Mansion premiere.

In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can celebrate by trying one of the Muppets Haunted Mansion-themed eclairs from PizzeRizzo.

And there will be a new PhotoPass Magic Shot in Disney’s Magic Kingdom on October 8th. Look for a photographer by the Haunted Mansion ride to get your picture taken, and then watch as Madame Pigota appears in your photo!

If you’re heading to the Disneyland parks, you can find some new photo opportunities at the Magic Key Holder event now. And on October 1st, there will be more photo ops near the Esplanade (the area between Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure). For example, you’ll find a Honda Ridgeline wrapped in the wallpaper designs used for Muppets Haunted Mansion.

On October 8th (the same day the new show premieres), you’ll also be able to visit an exhibit in Disneyland with “exclusive content from Muppets Haunted Mansion.” This exhibit will be inside the Main Street Opera House, located near the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln pre-show.
