Did you know that it’s a nearly 1-mile walk from the Disneyland parking garages to the park entrances?
At the end of a long day in the parks, that walk is not exactly fun, but parking trams had yet to return to Disneyland Park after reopening. Disney recently announced a reopening timeline for parking trams, and the day is finally here! Rest your tired feet, and check out the return of Disneyland trams here!
Since Disneyland reopened, if you parked at either the Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals parking garages, your only option was to walk from the garages to the entrances of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. Now you once again have the option to take a parking tram!
You can board the parking trams in the Mickey and Friends parking lot, and they transport you to just outside the Disneyland Esplanade, where it’s a short walk to the entrances of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.
The Toy Story parking lot is another option for parking, but there you receive bus service from the lot to the park entrances.
We’re excited for parking trams to return to Disneyland! Keep reading DFB for more Disney news!

Rather than seeing Disney celebrating itself, I’d like to hear a solid explanation from Disneyland leadership as to why the trams have been out of service so long. I can understand during the first year of the pandemic, but this past year it seems like they could have seated every other row or something rather than forcing people to make the walk.
There was no reason for the long delay to bringing back the trams. I spoke to several cast members and they all stated that the drivers (old and new) were ready to come to work when the park reopened last summer. It seems that Disney was just being cheap and greedy by holding out so long just to save a few bucks.
