The holidays are in full swing in Disney World, and there are ways to celebrate almost wherever you go.
From Festival of the Holidays in EPCOT to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom, there are many reasons why the parks get crowded this time of the year. The best thing to do is to have a plan and pack your patience. So, if you’re going to be in Disney World next week, let’s take a look at the park hours and park pass availability so you can plan accordingly!
Magic Kingdom Park Hours
We’re starting in Magic Kingdom, where on December 5th, 7th, and 10th, the park will be open from 9AM to 11PM. On December 4th, 8th, and 9th, Magic Kingdom will be open from 8AM to 6PM, and on On December 6th, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9AM to 6PM. The parks are closing early on these days due to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which runs from 7PM to 12AM.
On December 7th, Extended Evening Hours (for qualifying Disney World Resort hotel guests) are scheduled from 11PM to 1AM.
EPCOT Park Hours
EPCOT will be open from 9AM to 9:30PM from December 4th to the 10th.

If you want to park hop in Disney World right now, you have to have a Park Pass Reservation to start your day and you have to wait until after 2PM to scan into your second park (you have to go to your first park first!). An easy way to travel between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios is via the Disney Skyliner!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park Hours
And Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open from 9AM to 8PM on December 4th, 9AM to 7PM on December 5th through the 8th, 8AM to 7PM on December 9th, and 8AM to 8PM on December 1oth.
Now, let’s check out the availability of Park Passes next week!
Park Pass Reservation Availability
The Disney World Park Pass availability calendar is divided by theme park tickets, resort hotels, and Annual Passes. For visitors with Theme Park Tickets, Magic Kingdom is booked up on December 5th and 7th.
If you’re staying at a Disney World hotel, the availability is the same as it is with the theme park tickets. Magic Kingdom is booked up on December 5th and 7th.
If you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder you have a different calendar of park pass availability. Next week, the Incredi-Pass has no blockout dates with full park availability except for on December 5th and 9th, when Magic Kingdom is unavailable.
Sorcerer Passholders have the same thing — there is full park reservation availability next week except on December 5th and 9th, when Magic Kingdom is unavailable.
If you have the Pirate Pass you also have no blockout dates and every day is fully available except for December 5th and 9th, when Magic Kingdom is unavailable.
