Get ready for your mouth to water over this booth at the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival!
The 2023 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival has officially begun at Disneyland Resort and there are LOTS of things to do. From now through April 25th, you can devour some tasty eats and drinks, check out unique entertainment, and more. Wondering just what you can eat at the Cluck-A-Doodle-Moo booth? Well, we’ve checked it out and now we’re sharing our FULL thoughts.
Menu
Over at the Cluck-A-Doodle-Moo booth, you’ll find a variety of NEW items this year. There are two new food items and two new drinks to try!
Now that we know what is offered, let’s dive into the food itself!
Eats
First up, we tried the Smoked Honey-Habanero Chicken Wings. These chicken wings are tossed in honey-habanero seasoning and are $8.50.Â
These wings are DELICIOUS. The dish includes four decently-sized pieces with a sweet and spicy habanero seasoning. They’re cooked to perfection with a crispy outside and a tender and moist inside. We were also able to taste just a hint of lime!
Next, we had the BBQ Beef Brisket Slider. This slider features Fiscalini Farmstead Smoked Cheddar with dill pickles on salt & pepper on brioche. This slider is $9.
This is a GREAT sandwich. We got a generous portion of brisket, and we loved the smoked cheddar flavor that accompanied the meat. The pickles on the sandwich gave a nice crunch. The salt and pepper brioche bun was soft and fresh and complemented the brisket perfectly.
Drinks
In terms of drinks, we got the Chipotle-Pineapple Bourbon Sour. This drink includes bourbon, pineapple, and lime juices, honey syrup, and chipotle sour purée, garnished with a dried red pineapple wheel. This drink will cost you $17.Â
This drink is yummy! There’s a strong tropical flavor, but we didn’t notice a strong chipotle flavor. There’s only a tiny bit of spice which we thought made the drink very fun. This is great for even those of you who don’t enjoy a lot of spice.
Next, we tried the Smoked Cherry Mezcal-iki Cocktail. This drink has dark rum, mezcal, cherry purée, grapefruit & lime Juices, vanilla syrup, and bitters, garnished with a dried grapefruit chip. This drink is $16.Â
Our first impression of this drink was that it tasted much more smoky than like cherry. This one was hit or miss for us, as it isn’t the best option if you don’t really enjoy a smoky flavor.
Overall
Overall, we really enjoyed the food we got this year from Cluck-a-Doodle-Moo. If you love smoky flavor with a tiny bit of kick, this is the booth for you! Plus, we loved that the portion sizes were large enough that we could make a meal out of the dishes.
That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!
