The holidays have arrived in Disneyland!
Sleeping Beauty Castle is all dolled up for the occasion, and the decorations are up. The holiday popcorn buckets have arrived. Holiday merchandise is literally EVERYWHERE. The Disney California Adventure Festival of Holidays has started. Now we’ve got an update on one of the most ICONIC Disneyland holiday traditions: candy canes!
The holiday candy canes are a VERY big deal at Disneyland. They’re hand-pulled and handcrafted by Cast Members. People stand in line for HOURS to get their hands on one. Now, we have ALL the details about when, where, and how you can get your hands on a Disneyland candy cane.
- Candy Palace: December 3rd, 5th, 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th, and 24th
- Trolley Treats: December 4th, 6th, 11th, 13th, 18th, 20th, and 25th
A mobile waitlist will be used because quantities are very limited. Once the mobile waitlist is activated each morning, you can add your name and phone number at the location. You’ll get a text back when it’s time for you to get in line to get your candy cane. Note that you’re only allowed to buy one candy cane at a time. We recommend getting to the park as early as possible to get on that waitlist as soon as you can since these tend to go fast.
Also, don’t do what we did last year with our candy cane. We accidentally dropped ours, and it broke. NOOOOO! So be sure to put it in a safe spot once you get your hands on one because it can be delicate.
We’ll keep you updated on more holiday things in Disneyland AND Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
Will you be getting a candy cane this year? Let us know in the comments!
