Downtown Disney in Disneyland Resort has been going through an overhaul for a while now.

The transformation is continuing in 2024 and we’re looking forward to seeing what new additions are on the way. We were so excited to find out today that we FINALLY have an opening year for a restaurant we’ve been waiting forever for!

We’re so thrilled to share with you that Din Tai Fung, a world-renowned Chinese restaurant, will be added to Downtown Disney in 2024! SOUP DUMPLINGGGGGSSSS!!!!!

This restaurant is known for its soup dumplings (did I mention soup dumplings?) and noodles at its other locations throughout Southern California, Oregon, and Washington, among many other international locations. The menu will also consist of various soups (and soup dumplings, probably), many different flavors of dumplings (including soup ones) and buns, wontons, noodles, fried rice, and dessert dumplings (not soup).

Din Tai Fung will serve dishes family style, so you’ll want to bring your friends and family to eat with you! We still don’t have an exact opening timeline, but be sure to stay tuned to DFB for all the latest information!
