Disney has so many new ideas planned, and we are so excited!

From new themed lands, theme park expansions, restaurants, and cruise ships, there is so much in store for Disney in the future! We are incredibly excited for all the new dining locations and cannot wait to try them when they open!

Disney World

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

Hurly-Burly — Opening October 1, 2026

Hurly-Burly: Disney’s BoardWalk plays hosts to several shops and restaurants, and October 1st, 2026 will see the addition of a new lounge called Hurly-Burly! The spot will welcome guests for “fun-filled afternoons and glamorous evenings inside a historic seaside theatre with a vibrant BoardWalk story that spans over a century.”

During the afternoon, family-friendly activities like trivia and other games will be led by a host, but at night, the location will welcome only guests over to 21-and-over, when it will become a live music venue where you can unwind with classic, coastal-inspired cocktails and tasty light bites, while enjoying a variety of musical entertainment.

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge

A NEW Disney Vacation Club Resort hotel will be opening in Disney World on July 1st, 2027: Disney Lakeshore Lodge! And Disney has confirmed three eateries coming to the new hotel: 

Moonglade — Opening July 1st, 2027

Moonglade will provide a table-service dining option for guests at Lakeshore Lodge. Disney shares that Moonglade will serve “thoughtfully prepared dishes featuring seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.”

Floor-to-ceiling windows will allow guests to enjoy the lovely views of this nature-focused hotel as they dine.

Bay Lake Provisions — Opening July 1st, 2027

Bay Lake Provisions will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a Quick Service marketplace featuring an open-kitchen atmosphere.

Specialty coffees will be on offer along with “fresh fare,” according to Disney. And Disney hints that guests should “keep an eye out for woodland critters inspired by beloved Disney classics.”

Paint Out Point Bar & Grill — Opening July 1st, 2027

Paint Out Point Bar & Grill will be located by next Lakeshore Lagoon, the a zero-entry pool for guests of all ages that will serve as the heart of The Wetlands water recreation area!

Shareable bites and specialty beverages will be up for grabs as guests are “soaking in the natural beauty that surrounds The Wetlands.”

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is preparing to open a BRAND NEW THEMED LAND featuring those lovable monsters from Monsters. Inc.! It will soon be time for humans to visit Monstropolis, as the land will open in phases starting in 2027.

Harryhausen’s — Opening in 2027

Monstropolis is aiming to be the next human vacation destination! And Disney has stated, “Of course, it wouldn’t be Monstropolis without a few iconic stops along the way. Places like Harryhausen’s — yes, THAT legendary restaurant monsters line up for… help bring the city to life, adding even more personality, energy, and can’t-miss moments around every corner.”

Yes, indeed… at long last, humans will be able to dine at the iconic sushi restaurant pulled straight from Monsters, Inc.! 

Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza — Opening in 2027

In addition to the table service restaurant Harryhausen’s, Monstropolis will also offer a new quick service restaurant called Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza! The restaurant takes its name from Fear Tech’s six-legged pig mascot Archie, who, after years of being ‘borrowed’ by mischievous Monsters University students, has “become a fan favorite on both campuses.”

Disney California Adventure

Bountiful Valley Brews — Opening in 2026

A new kiosk will serve up light bites and brews when it opens in Disney California Adventure later in 2026: Bountiful Valley Brews!

Disney refers to this upcoming spot as “a little taste of the valley, right in the heart of Disney California Adventure Park.”

Downtown Disney

Disneyland’s Downtown Disney is currently under a lot of construction to bring us new dining experiences!

Porto’s Bakery

It was announced at D23 back in 2022 that Porto’s Bakery would be opening in Downtown Disney. This spot is very well known in Southern California. This bakery serves up delicious signature pastries and savory Cuban food.

At the bakery and cafe, you’ll be able to pick up “signature Cheese Rolls, Potato Balls and other favorite goodies.” But if you want an elevated experience, this will be the first Porto’s location with sit-down service and a full bar. Stay tuned for more information on an opening timeline!

Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon and Pearl’s Roadside BBQ

Also on the way is Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon, which will be a classic steakhouse by Michelin Star Chef Joe Isidori!

It will offer “prime cuts of beef, fresh seafood, sandwiches and salads, and an impressive selection of bourbon and inventive cocktails,” and will also home to a center bar.

Next door, you’ll find Pearl’s Roadside BBQ, a quick service restaurant offering pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked heritage turkey with house-made sauces, craft beers, and moonshine cocktails. And guess what?

This spot will also be brought to Downtown Disney by Chef Joe Isidori! 

These two restaurants will occupy the space that was formerly the Tortilla Jo’s (and the Taqueria) at Downtown Disney.

Bopo Go!

Bopo Go! is also coming to the shopping and dining district. This is a new cafe concept that has been created for Downtown Disney specifically! Eric Wang and Philip Wang, co-owners of Bopomofo Cafe, created the new cafe to serve “high-quality, authentic boba and bubble tea” using no artificial ingredients.

The tea will be sourced from farmers in Taiwan, and the matcha will be ceremonial grade from Japan. In addition to the drinks, this spot will have light bites, imported snacks, and candies.

Tokyo Disneyland

Element Express

Tokyo Disneyland has been on a major expansion kick lately, with entire lands getting reimagined and brand-new attractions, shops, and dining spots popping up across the resort. And as part of the massive overhaul of Tokyo Disneyland’s Tomorrowland, Disney has confirmed a new dining spot called Element Express, opening in the all-new Tomorrowland Plaza in 2027.

Here’s how Disney describes the new eatery as a place where “Guests can visit Element Express at Tomorrowland Plaza for snacks and drinks that are perfect for relaxing.”
