UPDATE on 3 NEW Disney Restaurants Opening SOON

Not one, not two, but THREE new restaurants are coming to Downtown Disney soon!

Disney recently shared some NEW concept art and revealed some exciting details about what you can expect here, and we also learned that all three restaurants will be opening next month! We can’t wait to check them out, so we stopped by to take a look at the progress!

Paseo, Céntrico, and Tiendita — brought to you by Mexico’s first Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán — will be opening at Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District in May! We’re looking forward to trying all three of these new restaurants, but for now, we’re taking a look at some of the updates in person.

Paseo, Centrico, and Tiendita are all right next to each other!

From what we can tell, these restaurants look like they are ready to open! We love the earthy vibes of the outdoor bar at Céntrico…

Centrico

…and can’t wait to grab something quick from Tiendita!

Tiendita

Céntrico will be a courtyard bar and restaurant described as an “energetic, central gathering place serving upscale Mexican cuisine and tequila-based cocktails.” The menu will feature items like quesabirrias, chicken enchiladas, tlayuda (which Disney calls an Oaxacan shareable dish reminiscent of pizza), and Caesar salad.

Centrico

At Paseo, Chef Gaytán “pairs his love of Mexico with French culinary style and technique.” We’re looking forward to trying the ceviches, Mama’s cochinita pibil (a roasted marinated pork), lamb barbacoa, and mejillones (a.k.a. mussels). Based on the concept art, this restaurant looks STUNNING, right?

Paseo

Finally, there’s Tiendita. It’s essentially a fast-food Mexican restaurant, complete with a self-ordering kiosk and menu options like esquites (roasted corn), fish tacos, ice cream-stuffed chocolate tacos (OOH!), and chorizo breakfast burritos and chilaquiles (marinated tortilla chips with egg).
