Disney Announced a NEW 'Inside Out 2' Addition for a Popular Nighttime Show

Who doesn’t love a good Disney nighttime spectacular? We know we do!

World of Color — ONE

Over in Disney California Adventure, you can catch World of Color — ONE right in front of Pixar Pier. It’s a beautiful show that highlights Disney films over the past 100 years, bringing scenes to life from classic animated movies, Star Wars, and more. But now, there’s a new pre-show you can catch for a limited time you won’t want to miss!

Recently, World of Color — ONE introduced a new pre-show inspired by Inside Out 2!

Inside Out 2 Preview at Walt Disney Presents

The pre-show is officially called Emotional Rollercoaster and includes all our favorite characters from the first film, and even introduces the new characters we’ll meet in the second film, which releases on June 14th. Through animated projections and fountains synchronized to music, lasers, and sparkling lighting, the new emotions — Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment, and Ennui — learn to coexist with the existing emotions in Riley’s head.

Disney hasn’t announced how long this pre-show will run before the main show, but we suggest checking it out sooner rather than later to ensure you won’t miss it!

World of Color — ONE

Keep in mind that getting a prime viewing spot for World of Color — ONE isn’t as easy as just staking out a spot — there are roped-off viewing areas for the show that can only be entered by getting a spot in the Virtual Queue that opens at 12PM PT (noon) each day. These areas are standing-room only and offer the best view of the show.

If the Virtual Queue fills up, don’t despair! You can speak to a Cast Member 30-45 minutes before the show to inquire about walk-up waitlist options. You can also stand elsewhere and watch the show, but we recommend the Virtual Queue for the best spot in the park!

If you’ve successfully snagged a spot in the Virtual Queue, you’ll want to enter the roped-off area around 45 minutes before the show to ensure you’ve got a good spot inside. However, we still don’t recommend planning anything for the hour before showtime to allow yourself enough time.
