Disney Announces OPENING DATE for New Gift Shop!

Disneyland Park is in the middle of some big updates.

From expansions near Haunted Mansion to a revamp of Critter Country, there’s a lot of construction happening in the park. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is opening soon in the park, and with it, we’ll be getting some NEW offerings!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is opening on November 15th, which also marks the change from Critter Country to Bayou Country. This rethemed area will be inspired by the bayou atmosphere, and as part of the updates, we’re getting some new shopping options!

Ride testing is underway for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disneyland!

Disney has just announced that Louis’ Critter Club, a new shop near the ride, will open on November 13th. This is one of two Princess and the Frog-themed stores that will be available — the other is called Ray’s Berets, but it doesn’t yet have an opening date.

Along with this update, Disney also shared some photos of construction progress on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The facade of the attraction is looking close to being complete, and the Tiana’s Foods water tower even lights up at night.

In the queue area, colorful new artwork has been added that features characters and scenes from the attraction. We spot Louis playing jazz with the big boys!

And the main building entrance looks like it’s ready to go! The doors are installed, the sign is up, and we can even see some details already hanging up in the queue. Just about a month left to go!

Because Magic Key previews begin on October 21st, it makes sense that the ride is complete and ready to rock ‘n’ roll. We’ll be excited to step inside and check it out for ourselves — especially comparing it to the East Coast version that opened at Magic Kingdom this summer.
