Halloween snacks have TAKEN OVER Disney World!
We’ve tried everything from a Mike Wazowski Cake to a Tiramisu that is basically a pumpkin spice latte in food form! But, the Halloween fun is just getting started!
Since the reopening, we’ve seen a few character dining experiences return.
You can now see Cinderella (very quickly) at Cinderella’s Royal Table, wave at the Beast in Be Our Guest Restaurant, and get some fun photos with Mickey and some of his friends at Garden Grill Restaurant and Topolino’s Terrace. Today, character dining also returned to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with a Halloween twist!
We managed to get some School Bread at another spot in the Norway pavilion to satisfy our cravings, but there’s nothing like seeing (and eating) all those delicious treats from Kringla Bakeri og Kafe, which is a quick service spot located in the Norway pavilion in EPCOT.
Like several other restaurants around Disney World, Kringla has been closed since the parks’ reopening.
If you are a Disney fan or know one, you know that a Disney Gift Card can often be the PERFECT gift!
Or, if you’re just trying to set a budget for merchandise or snacks for your next Disney trip, placing a certain amount of money on a Disney Gift Card for each member of your family can be a great way to control spending in the parks. If you’re a Disney Visa Cardholder, you may also be saving up all those Disney Rewards Dollars for your next trip. But, today was definitely not the day to be using either of those payment methods.
We’ve got our Retro Disneyland Ears, Disneyland tumbler, and we’re ready to go to the happiest place on earth. There’s just one problem…it’s closed.
Disneyland closed about 6 months ago. Downtown Disney has reopened but Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park remain closed. While an initial reopening date for the parks was set, it was thereafter delayed, and a new reopening date has yet to be announced. But, Disney officials and others are working hard to push California’s governor to reopen the theme parks.

Well, if you tried to go on a Disney shopping spree this morning, you were likely met by the friendly face of Fix-it Felix letting you know that the shopDisney website was unavailable.
UPDATE: Splash Mountain is up and running again in Magic Kingdom.
Even though it’s the most magical place on earth, from time to time, attractions in Disney World do experience issues requiring evacuations or causing them to become temporarily unavailable.
Well, it seems guests headed to their “laughing place” on Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom today couldn’t quite make it through the mountain and into the briar patch.
Just yesterday, we shared that some NEW Designer Minnie Ears from Cupcakes and Cashmere would be released on shopDisney today.
And we were READY to get those beautiful, shiny pink ears this morning, but alas, shopDisney went down earlier this morning and is still currently unavailable. Now, we’ve got an update on when you’ll be able to grab those Cupcakes and Cashmere designer ears!
Recently, a Disney executive noted that Disney Cruise Line would likely be the last of Disney’s businesses to resume.
So far, Disney has suspended all departures through mid-December, and has provided lots of flexibility in terms of cruise date modifications for its guests. Now, Disney has made further changes to some of its policies for future cruisers.
Since the Walt Disney World theme parks reopened a few months ago, we’ve seen various changes including the introduction of systems like the Park Pass Reservation System and the suspension of Fastpass+.
The holiday experience at Disney World has also changed significantly. Just recently, we shared some updates with you about the upcoming Christmastime entertainment and offerings that will be available at Disney World this year, but there’s also quite a few Christmas staples that guests won’t be able to experience.
