The latest installment of the Star Wars Skywalker Saga will be hitting the big screen on December 20th, and Disney is going all out with the celebration. From The Rise of Skywalker merchandise to themed cupcakes popping up in the parks, Disney is getting ready for the latest debut in the series. But, if you can’t make it to a Disney park to celebrate the Star Wars milestone, don’t despair! There’s a more local Disney spot you might be able to visit to commemorate the big day!

The most wonderful time is in full swing in Disney World! From the Double Chocolate Peppermint Ice Cream Sandwich to the Peppermint Soft-Serve, Animal Kingdom has been serving up all kinds of festive goodies! Today, we’re heading over to Creature Comforts in Animal Kingdom to try out another cheery treat — or should we say cranberry treat!

Maybe we’re getting a little bit ahead of ourselves (we’ve still got the holiday season ahead!). That being said, if you’re looking to celebrate the new year in STYLE, Disney World has got you covered! We’ve started seeing tons of new 2020 merchandise at the parks, including this newest find at the Legends of Hollywood store in Hollywood Studios!
When you’re in the mood to cool down with a giant cup of ice cream in Disney World, there’s one place that comes to mind — Beaches and Cream!
Beaches & Cream
Located between the Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts in the Epcot Resort Area, Beaches and Cream is a staple in Disney, serving up ice cream, burgers, hot dogs, and more in a boardwalk-style restaurant. Since August, the beloved shop has been closed for refurbishment. And although there has been a temporary location, we’ve been missing this ice cream sundae stop (where else can you get this MASSIVE Kitchen Sink?!). Luckily, it looks like the refurbishment is coming to a close – and Beaches and Cream might be reopening sooner than you’d think!

The most wonderful time of the year has arrived at the Happiest Place on Earth! And by “most wonderful time of the year,” we obvi mean CHURRO SEASON.
