Disney’s MagicBands have undergone some changes in 2021.
MagicBand
Previously, all Disney resort guests and new Passholders received a complimentary MagicBand. This was phased out in January for resort guests in favor of expanded smart device capabilities. Meanwhile, Passholders’ free options were narrowed down to just one. And while resort guests can now buy a $5 MagicBand or use a Keys to the World card, there’s an alternative.

When Rivers of America was drained last fall, the Liberty Belle Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island closed with it. Signs apologized for all the “ruckus” as construction took place. But after months of refurbishment, the water is back and smooth sailing is ahead.
Another Disney Springs restaurant is getting in the Valentine’s Day spirit!

Disney Springs diners already have a lot to look forward to in the next few weeks: STK Orlando is serving up Valentine’s Day specials, and The Ganachery has some love-inspired treats. And if you’re not celebrating the 14th, there’s a variety of sweet deals: Ghirardelli has a BIG discount on sundaes and kids eat free all month at Planet Hollywood! Last fall, Rivers of America was completely drained, and Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat closed with it. After Rivers of America was refilled last month, it looks like things are finally getting back to normal! Both the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island are reopening on February 5th, and now we have even more good news.

We’ve received loads of refurbishment announcements over the last few days! But as a recently redone dining location reopens, another one will be closing.
