Another brunch option is joining the ever-growing list of Disney Springs brunches, my friends!
From Wine Bar George, Maria and Enzo’s, STK, Raglan Road, and more (don’t forget to read our Homecomin’ Brunch Review here! HUSH. PUPPY. BENEDICT. Y’all.), Disney Springs is THE place to be if you’re looking to get your brunch on.
is one of our all-time favorite places to eat in Disneyland’s California Adventure. For real, everything there is simple…yet amazing.
They have great soups, bread bowls, and salads…comfort food galore. But, obviously, the seasonal desserts are the winners in our book. Recently, there have been a lot of bread puddings going around — and they are crazy good, you guys. We didn’t think that they could get any better after the last seasonal bread pudding Pacific Wharf had on their menu. Let us tell you, though… We were so wrong.
Lots of change is on the horizon for Walt Disney World Resort. With the closure and relocation of many fan-favorite locations at Epcot, and the construction of new attractions and the Disney Skyliner, it’s clear to see that lots of new opportunities are on the horizon.
Now, it seems that even more change is on the way as we’re spotting a lengthy refurbishment period for Blizzard Beach Water Park this year.
The lion may be the King of the Jungle, but the elephant is definitely the coolest!
And HERE’s a blast from the past!! Who remembers our FIRST review of an elephant cupcake on Disney Food Blog? Way back in 2012 we reviewed this awesome german chocolate cake version of the elephant cupcake.
But times have changed, and now the SAME elephant is back…with a very sweet surprise!
HAKUNA MATATA, EVERYONE!! Ready to grab the latest grub with Timon and Pumbaa?
Recently, it feels like everywhere you look, there’s new The Lion King merch with the upcoming premiere of the live-action film next week (omg we can’t wait!!!). We’ve spotted plush toys, popcorn buckets, and ice cream. Now, there’s even a colorful dessert in Disney Springs celebrating its release!
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
has expanded to the new 545-room Gran Destino Tower, and atop that tower is a new lounge that is not to be missed!
Dahlia Lounge is inspired by the Disney short film Destino which was, in part, storyboarded by artist Salvador Dali. It told a fascinating story about a mortal, Dahlia, who catches the eye of Chronos, the Greek figure who represents time.
Dali’s surrealist’s spirit infused the film, and it has infused Dahlia Lounge as well. Warmth, visual interest, and expert mixologists (artists in their own right!) are found here. [Read more…]
DFB Readers: Assemble! Are you ready for the next installment in the Avengers Churro Saga?!
We’ve seen the Power Stone Churro and the Reality Stone Churro already in Disney California Adventure and at the Disneyland After Dark: Heroes Assemble back in April. For the next churro, though, we’re going to have to take a trip all the way to Vormir.
Three words, you guys: Bigger. Bubble. Waffles. If your stomach wasn’t growling, it is now with this updated ice cream treat in Disney Springs!
The Wreck-It Ralph Sundae has made a big smash before on our blog. The Family Challenge Trophy is a HUGE reminder of the accomplishment your family or you (we could have one entirely to ourselves) made by finishing those last few bites of the sundae. And, we’ve also seen the Salted Caramel and Strawberry Bubble Waffles pop up with their sweet and crunchy goodness. But, we’ve never seen them combined TOGETHER like this before!!
We’re exploring Gran Destino Tower today
(check out our LIVE post here to see all of our coverage!) and of the many breathtaking spaces in the Tower, Barcelona Lounge makes a particularly powerful impression.
This stunning espresso bar/gin tonic lounge is open to the entry and lobby above and features towering views of Lago Dorado and Coronado Springs Resort beyond.
Barcelona Lounge is notable for its thoughtful and thought-provoking architecture and interior design. [Read more…]
