Can you believe that we’re just a week away from Animal Kingdom’s official grand re-opening on July 11th!

While we’re packing our trekking bags to head back into the parks, we’ve been looking at a sneak peek of Animal Kingdom’s new bag check area and temperature screening tents. And, now we have first look inside the park too!

But hold the phone — that’s because it HAS only been ONE day since we officially launched our new DFB face mask collection! And believe it or not, we’ve already added a TON of new styles!
With Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s Annual Passholder previews and grand reopenings scheduled for next week, final preparations are being made to welcome back guests.

And while earlier, we shared some of biorecontruct’s aerial photography of Cinderalla Castle before we were able to catch a glimpse of the Magic Kingdom icon with our own eyes, we’re back to show you some new photos of the probable temperature check tents that are being set up outside the entrance of each theme park!
Walt Disney World has reopened, and things are much different than they were when the parks closed.
Of course, we’re talking about everything from the implementation of rigorous new health and safety protocols to the suspension of parades, fireworks, and traditional character meet and greets. But, we’re also talking about MAJOR changes to the way we plan and spend our days in the theme parks.

Disney has temporarily suspended park hopping, aka visiting multiple parks per day. That means once you choose your park (and you need a Park Pass Reservation to get in), that’s where you’re staying. So how can you make the most of your time in just one Disney park all day? We’ve got the tips!

Disney World is busy making preparations to reopen its theme parks. So far they’ve started testing transportation and recalling Cast Members.

And last week we learned that Disney would be asking some of its equity performers to return soon to begin rehearsals.
When select Disney World resort hotels reopened last week, we knew transportation would be limited, but we were still holding out hope we might get to ride the monorail or go for a gondola ride on Disney’s Skyliner!

Well, that didn’t exactly happen…BUT today we finally know exactly WHEN we can expect Disney World’s many modes of transportation to be operating again!

That’s right, it’s almost time for Disney World to get back into the swing of things. When these parks open, many of our favorite table-service locations will be serving guests again. With the added health measures and limits on capacity, Disney suspended new dining reservations and canceled existing ones. Now, dining reservations are coming BACK to the Disney parks!
Update: Disney has recently stated earlier reopening dates for transportation services than were previously given. Guests attending Annual Passholder previews will be able to ride the Monorail and Ferry Boats to and from the Ticket and Transportation Center and Magic Kingdom starting July 7th. Tram Service will not be available from the guest parking lots.
