Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!
And, we’ve got plenty of food, merchandise, and construction updates to share with you, so let’s dive right on in!
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will reopen to guests on October 14th.
You may recall that just last summer, the addition of the Gran Destino Tower brought new dining options (along with over 500 rooms) to this Resort. And today brings news about which dining locations — both in the Tower and throughout the rest of the Resort — will reopen to guests at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort next week. [Read more…]
Although several hotels are still closed at Walt Disney World, many have reopened and are now welcoming guests.
Slowly, more options, like room service and even Table Service Mobile Order, are being offered at Disney Resort hotels, and now guests can book additional types of rooms at some Disney resorts.
Disney’s Aulani Resort is reopening in Hawaii and we’re less than a month out!
As you’ve probably noticed mobile devices have been a HUGE help in the reopened Disney properties. The use of the My Disney Experience app in Disney World has helped to limit physical contact and expedite different processes. Ahead of reopening, Aulani Resort now has an app of its own!
Disney World tends to spoil us for choice when it comes to options for our MagicBand collection. Now, two new MagicBand designs are available for a pre-arrival exclusive preorder for Resort Guests — and one of them has us thinking that the MagicBand people maybe missed a memo.
Back in July, we reported that a few Disney World attractions are closed indefinitely — Stitch’s Great Escape, Primeval Whirl, and Rivers of Light. So what’s up with this Rivers of Light MagicBand? It’s cute…but the timings a little off.
Jambo from Kidani Village in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!
This week we headed to Walt Disney World’s wildest resort to see what’s new and what’s happening. We decided to visit Kidani Village, the DVC resort area, to check out the pool and take in the savanna view!
Guests at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge have an extra treat to look forward to this Halloween season at the Resort!
During our visit to the Lodge yesterday, we discovered the Wilderness Lodge Pumpkin Patch Scavenger Hunt, simply perfect for the Spooky Season! If you’ve ever stayed at Wilderness Lodge, you may be familiar with the popular Hidden Mickey Hunt here (which, for future reference, offers a ton of year-round fun). The Pumpkin Patch Scavenger Hunt is a similar concept… only instead of our pal, Mickey, you’ll be searching for pumpkins featuring those famous Disney Villains! [Read more…]
We’ve been making our way around the Disney World theme parks and resorts to see what’s new. From Halloween snacks to new merchandise, there’s so much to see!
Recently, we visited Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to see what fun things we could find there. Join us on a trip to the most magical place on earth and into the wilderness to see what’s new at these spots!
Don’t get us wrong, Disney World has some pretty cool water slides. But it also has one that haunts our dreams. Yep, we’re talking about the Keister Coaster. You either love it…or you’re absolutely terrified of it.
This watery deluge ramp of circus-based nightmares is the main feature of Luna Park Pool at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. To be fair, it’s a pretty great pool (and slide!). But if you happen to be scared of clowns, it might not be your favorite. Whether you love it or hate it, Luna Park Pool is getting some TLC — and we have pics!
Last month, we learned about a MAJOR update coming to select Disney World Table Service Restaurants. We then noticed that the My Disney Experience app had added Mobile Order to one of our favorite table service spots, Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge!
Since then, we’ve noticed two more restaurants pop up with the Mobile Order Table Service To Go feature: Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Resort and The Wave…of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. But now it looks like another restaurant will be getting the feature soon, too!
