This just in!
We have potential updates to early booking for events during the 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival for two populations of Disney fans!
As you know, booking for all Epcot Food and Wine Festival Events for the General Public opens on July 21st at 7AM ET. But most years, if you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder, Disney Vacation Club Member, Tables in Wonderland, or Golden Oak Resident, you’ll get to book Festival Center events (seminars and demos primarily) a few days early. This year, that early date falls on July 19th at 9AM!
And today, we’ve gotten some good news for yet another group of Disney lovers…
Yay! We’ve now heard that Chase Disney Visa Cardmembers will again be able to book events early this year as well! The phone lines are slated to open for this group on July 19 at 7AM! So if you have a Disney Visa, start planning, because next Tuesday is YOUR DAY! Call 407-939-1870 to book reservations with your Disney Visa Credit Card.
While Disney hasn’t fully clarified what will be eligible for booking on the early day, the events are most likely the Low-Cost Culinary Demonstrations and Beverage Seminars that take place at Festival Center. There may be some Special Events as well.
Remember, this info is always subject to change. There are so many moving parts with the Festival, so things DO change from time to time. But since this information falls in line with what has happened in previous years, we’re pretty confident in reporting that it will be the case.
But that’s not all the interesting early booking news we have today!
So…Disney World Annual Passholders may be able to book some events for the festival on July 18th.
But…probably not.
I’ll explain.
We were pretty confident that July 19th was the early booking date for ALL specialty groups this year. THEN we started getting emails and notifications from our readers about an earlier booking date for Annual Passholders. So we investigated, and here’s what we found:
According to PassholderCalendar.com (an official Annual Passholder website that I found through the Mickey Monitor, which is the official Annual Passholder publication), early booking for Annual Passholders who are booking seminars will be open on July 18. [Read more…]
Today, we are excited to share details for the Culinary Demonstrations and Beverage Seminars that will take place during the 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
Just in time to make all of your plans (whew!!), we now have details on the low-cost demos and seminars that are one of the hallmarks of the Festival. I know you’re just as anxious as we are to see what’s new this year!
Booking all of your favorites starts in just a few days — July 21st for the general public, and July 19th for Annual Passholders, DVC members, Golden Oak Residents, and Tables in Wonderland Members!
Culinary demos and beverage seminars represent great value when it comes to Festival events. They’re also a great way to learn in a fun, festive setting.
The cost for all seminars and demos is $15 again this year, and the events feature a wide range of talent from the culinary world. (Annual Passholders, DVC members, Golden Oak Residents, and Tables in Wonderland Members are eligible for $2 discounts on seminars and demonstrations held Monday through Thursday.) Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It! Workshops are $49 per person. [Read more…]

Yay!
The 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival FULL Booth Menus are now available!
While we wait together for the beginning of this year’s Food and Wine Festival, I’ll share some of the brand new items we can’t wait to try this year!
For the second straight year, the fun is officially expanding into Future World, as Marketplace Booths will once again be located in this part of the park. Enjoy more than 30 different booths in all! [Read more…]
We have REALLY exciting news today! If you have been been mourning the loss of Figaro Fries since their untimely demise at the Magic Kingdom’s Pinocchio’s Village Haus, it is now time to celebrate!
This fan-favorite extinct dish has been reincarnated as “Loaded Plaza Fries” at The Plaza Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom!
On a recent visit to the Magic Kingdom we checked out the updated menu at The Plaza and there they were! Loaded Plaza Fries – french fries topped with melted cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and ranch dressing.
Quiet on the set! There are some new lunch items available at Starring Rolls Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios that we have to share!
Starring Rolls is a tiny cafe on the corner of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard — doesn’t that location just scream show business? I usually swing by to check out its collection of sweet treats and pretty pastries, but the often-overlooked lunch options are worth a shot! Soups, salads, and sandwiches are the stars of the show at lunch time, and we suggest finishing off lunch with one of our all-time favorites, the Napoleon.
Ready?
And, ACTION!

Ladies and Gentleman… watch as signs for the AbracadaBar magically appear on Disney World’s Boardwalk right before your very eyes!!
That’s right! Signage is up for AbracadaBar, the magically-themed lounge scheduled to open later this summer! [Read more…]
While we count down to all the delicious snacks at this fall’s Food and Wine Festival, Liberty Inn at Epcot’s World Showcase has a couple new things to try!
Liberty Inn is located in Epcot’s World Showcase, which is basically a buffet of international treats! With all the available options, you might be tempted to skip over colonial fare here. However, Liberty Inn is a solid choice for a quick-service meal with picky eaters — getting a decent New York Strip Steak for less than $12 doesn’t hurt either.
Liberty Inn is attached to the impressive American Adventure building with indoor and outdoor seating. If you find yourself wandering the World Showcase without an advance dining reservation, this could be the perfect way to beat the heat!
After your meal, step next door to watch the talented a cappella group, Voices of Liberty perform!
We’re excited to bring you new menu items at an open-every-once-in-a-while favorite — Tomorrowland Terrace at Disney’s Magic Kingdom!
This counter-service restaurant is open seasonally during the busiest times, so you might not have eaten here; but we’re sure you’ve passed by it on your shortcut from Main Street to Tomorrowland!
We love this outdoor restaurant for its ample, covered seating and menu that can please any crowd. The menu has always been a mixture of hard-to-find counter-service dishes (like pasta!) and classic American items that will make even the pickiest eaters happy.
Sadly, the pasta is gone, but we’re happy to report that the new items keep the balance of ordinary and out of this world!
Since we don’t get to talk about Tomorrowland Terrace often, let’s explore the location a little more…
