We love how Disney World has a lot of fun with its snacks.
We’ve eaten things with Mr. Toad’s face on them, Cheeto-dusted burgers, cupcakes with spiders on them, and donuts with candy corn. But we just tried a snack that is a TOTAL mood, y’all.
food IS a theme park

We’ve been seeing all kinds of holiday treats in Disney World over the last couple of days.
We tried a couple of the holiday confections that you can find in display cases at bakeries in all the parks, like eggnog fudge, themed caramel apples, and more. But we’re SUPER excited for the latest treat that’s now available in EPCOT! Over the last couple of years, this treat has become a very important part of the holidays in EPCOT for us, so we’re really happy to see it return now. [Read more…]
We’ve already seen lots of holiday decorations and snacks around Disney World as the parks get ready for the festive season.
But we haven’t completely forgotten about Thanksgiving, either! We found a couple of tasty Thanksgiving-themed snacks recently (including a fancy cupcake and a huge cake pop). And there’s one treat spot at Disneyland (coming soon to Disney World!) that’s also embracing the Thanksgiving spirit. They’re taking the fall flavors very literally, and we’re SUPER excited and also a little scared. [Read more…]
Disney World has been very busy decorating for the holidays recently.
We’ve seen decorations go up in a few of the parks, new holiday merchandise online and in the stores, and even some new holiday treats at the bakeries. But if you’re wondering what happened to Thanksgiving, never fear! There are still a couple of treats that remember it’s still fall! And we found one of them in Disney’s Animal Kingdom today.
Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations started on October 1st, and they’re still going strong in the parks.
We tried a LOT of snacks, treats, and drinks on that day, but we’re still finding new ones for the occasion all around Disney World. You don’t even have to go into the parks to celebrate, though, because the latest treat we found was actually in Disney Springs!
You may have forgotten to turn your calendar to November this morning, but Disney World sure didn’t because the holidays are HERE!
Disney transformed the parks overnight, installing the iconic GIANT Christmas tree in Magic Kingdom and decking out the rest of Main Street, U.S.A. But, it’s not just the parks that get a jolly makeover for the season — the Disney Resorts are getting in on the action too! We stopped by Disney’s Beach Club Resort this morning to watch the life-sized carousel start to take shape and while we were there we couldn’t resist trying a treat or two…or FOUR.
Although Halloween has come and gone, we’re still in a fall mood!
Disney has already started to add holiday decorations to the park, but not everyone is quite ready to switch out pumpkin spice to peppermint just yet. Since the season began, we’ve been trying pumpkin treats all over Disney World including a pumpkin mousse, a pumpkin macaron ice cream sandwich, and a pumpkin donut and cold brew combo. Now Disney has released a pumpkin treat and we had to go check it out!
Holiday decor has arrived in the parks, gingerbread houses are being constructed, and more holiday items are on the way.
It may only be November 1st, but the holidays are well underway in Disney World. And now it’s time to get those Instagrams ready because some classic Disney World holiday treats are also back in the parks!
One of our favorite spots for a treat in Disney World is Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs.
Gideon’s serves up giant cookies and even bigger slices of cake, and just about everything we’ve tried there has been delicious. Each month, you’ll find a new limited-edition offering at the Bakehouse, and we’ve already been in to try this month’s cookie. See what we thought here, and also check out the other limited-edition offerings for this month!
A lot of people loved to use the Dining Plan on their Disney World vacations.
With the Disney Dining Plan, guests could basically pre-pay for their meals, drinks, and snacks by purchasing one of four different plans. Then during their vacation, guests would have “credits” to use for snacks, quick-service meals, and table-service meals. When Disney World reopened last year, they did not bring back the Dining Plan. So we asked all of you whether you thought the plan would return this year, and if not, when do you think it’ll come back?
