Epic Universe is opening on May 22nd, and we’ve been celebrating this major achievement by trying as many restaurants and snack stands as we can so we can give you all the best information for your upcoming trip.
We stopped by Comet Dogs in Celestial Park to bring you a full review so you can decide if you need to visit on your day in Epic Universe. Come with us and let’s try one of the ultimate theme park foods!
Universal’s Epic Universe will see the opening of the resort’s third Harry Potter land: Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic. While the new land is incredibly immersive, there’s something missing…
The first two Wizarding World installations in Orlando – – Islands of Adventure’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Hogsmeade and Universal Studios Florida’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley – – were revolutionary for the theme park industry, and certainly elements of the Ministry of Magic portal seem like they will (we’re looking you you, Battle at the Ministry). However, certain elements of the land may be lacking.
WOAH! We have some MAJOR Epic Universe that we think you’re going to love.
If you’ve been wanting to go to Epic Universe before the opening, you now can!
The opening of Epic Universe is getting closer and closer, and we just can’t stop talking about it. We’ve been exploring the different lands, rides, and restaurants, so you know where to spend your time when you run through the portals.
We visited Toadstool Cafe in Super Nintendo World to try out a few new foods. Toadstool Cafe is also in Universal Hollywood, and we’ve loved dining here before, so when it came to Orlando, we knew we had to try it out. Ready to enter the pipe? Here we goooooo!
We’re SO close to the opening of Universal Orlando’s new theme park, Epic Universe, which is officially happening on May 22nd, 2025!
Epic Universe brings five new themed lands as well as three new hotels to Universal Orlando, and to say the hype is real is a major understatement. We’ve had the chance to explore the new theme park and we can’t wait to go back again and again. And, if you can’t make it to Epic Universe to see the Chronos Tower anytime soon, you can always plan a trip to New York City instead!
Sometimes, it’s the littlest things in life that make us so happy.
When we opened our Universal Orlando app, imagine our surprise when we saw a little bit of magic right in front of us!
We’re about to rank the rides of Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe and believe me, this was a LOT tougher than we’d thought it would be.
Once we get up to those best of the best rides, the competition heats up and the winner may surprise you!
We have been ALL over Epic Universe and have enjoyed seeing the five new lands in Universal Orlando’s new theme park.
We’ve been on the rides, we’ve checked out the character meet and greets, and we’ve enjoyed the vibe of each land. However, most importantly, we’ve been checking out the FOOD, so we’re coming back at you with a NEW review, this time of a bar called The Plastered Owl (okay, is that not the COOLEST bar name ever?). So here are our honest thoughts.
Epic Universe officially opens its doors to the public on May 22nd, which is less than a month away!
We’ve been visiting the park a LOT lately to make sure we can help you plan your upcoming vacation so that you don’t feel like you’re walking in unprepared. If you’re staying at a Universal Orlando hotel, one of the perks you receive is Early Entry into the theme parks, but we just noticed that this popular perk currently is NOT available for Epic Universe on one very important day.
Our handy (and portable!) ebook guides make sure you get the best deals and can plan a vacation of a lifetime.
