Hello, foodies!!
We’re back with another DFB Video, and today we’re talking about the best of the fest at Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival this year!
Hurricane season is coming up fast, and guests at Walt Disney World are looking ahead to how any potential storms might affect their trip — either with a Florida coast impact, or just a week’s worth of rain. We know there’s a lot to be concerned about when a storm is approaching — particularly if you’re not from an area that typically gets large, active systems like a hurricane.
Hurricane season in 2021 officially runs from June 1 through November 30, with the bulk of the action taking place in August through October. [Read more…]
Huge ice cream sundaes at an old-fashioned soda fountain? We seriously love Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club Resort.
And, although the original location is closed for lengthy refurbishments, the sweet treats featured on the menu have been brought over to the temporary satellite location. Yet, when we went to take a bite of one of our all-time favorite Disney World desserts, we found a sundae that was a little bit different than we remember.
The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival has begun, and if you’re planning to attend the Festival this year, you already know it’s gigantic. But if this is your first Food and Wine Festival, if it’s been a while since your last visit, or if you’re just tryin’ to up your game this year, you’re going to want to get your copy of the DFB Guide to the Epcot Food & Wine Festival.
The Guide is over 250 pages full of tips, suggestions, and information to help you make the most of your Food & Wine Festival adventure.

Last weekend’s D23 Expo revealed a lot of big news for the Disney Parks (Epcot Transformation! Avengers Campus!), Disney+ streaming service, Disney Cruise Line, and more!
Oh and then there was a little something called GALAXY’S EDGE…and the Epcot FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL in there this week! And wait there’s a HURRICANE?!
Well in that onslaught of expected and unexpected news (Mary Poppins attraction, wut!), three HUGE pieces of Disney news for Walt Disney World went way under the radar.
Epcot’s Park-wide transformation was arguably the biggest, most paradigm-shifting news at D23, and lost in the haze of new neighborhoods and new pavilion, attraction, and dining info, you might’ve missed discussion of Spaceship Earth’s transformation. [Read more…]
Hellooo
, foodies!
We’re back with another DFB Video, and today we’re talking about the secrets people don’t know about the Disney Dining Plan and free dining offer!
Hot dogs, sweet tea, and lemonade? Count us in!!
We love having a good ol’ hot dog and a nice refreshing drink during hot days in Disney World, especially when they are part of a great doggone deal!
We’re a little less than one month out from the grand opening of Disney’s newest mode of transportation — The Disney Skyliner Gondola System. These gondolas will soon allow guests to take to the skies for a birds-eye view of Walt Disney World Resort while they travel to their next destination.
Currently, a category 4 hurricane named Hurricane Dorian is on the move, inching its way closer and closer to Walt Disney World Resort. The Orlando Airport has already announced a closure, and Disney World itself has confirmed hurricane closures and cancellations as well.
So with such a significant weather impact potentially on the way to Orlando, this leaves us with this question, will the new Disney Skyliner System be able to weather the storm?
If you’re planning to fly out for a vacation at Walt Disney World in the next few days, you may want to think again.
Just like Disney is taking precautions with park and resort cancellations, Orlando International Airport (MCO) is following suit to ensure the safety of passengers.
