Okay, it’s been a few weeks now. Have you seen it yet?!?
I’m talking about Happily Ever After, the new nighttime spectacular that wraps up a magical day at Magic Kingdom! And the park is celebrating its brand new show with an extra special snack.
It’s LIGHT UP COTTON CANDY, y’all!! And you can find it at select Popcorn and snack carts in the park (mostly around Main Street and the Hub). [Read more…]
You know how we feel about Dole Whip. It’s a love/love relationship. And Dole Whip loves us back by being so delicious.
So we were pretty excited when we discovered Pineapple-Flavored Cotton Candy at Disney California Adventure while there for the DCA Food and Wine Festival. (You’ll recognize Pineapple-Flavored Cotton Candy by the white and pale yellow stripes.)
Of course, like any cotton candy, it’s just sweet. Super sweet. But this version also has a bit of a pineapple flavor.

I’m having a TON of fun at Disney World this week! And my trip has been made all the better by seeing that the construction walls surrounding the soon-to-be-open Ample Hills Creamery have come down!
This “re-imagined take on the turn-of-the-century ice cream parlor” will take over the spot that was previously occupied by the ESPN Club Arcade, next door to the very-much-still-open ESPN Club.
Will you be celebrating romance, friendship, or family at the Disneyland Resort in February? Then be on the lookout for specialty treats and menus at some of your favorite Disneyland dining locations celebrating St. Valentine’s Day on February 14th!
Of course, with Valentine’s Day falling on a Sunday this year, a few spots will be celebrating all weekend long… [Read more…]
has taken over the Backlot area of Disney California Adventure, and with it come some pretty tasty snacks. Let’s head inside of Olaf’s Snow Fest and see what Arendelle has to offer.
The lighting inside of Olaf’s Snow Fest is very pink, so it made for a tough photo spot. Adorable nonetheless though! A snack area in the corner is set up so that visitors to Arendelle can recharge after playing in the snow. Although there is only one spot to order, the area is organized to look like separate food booths with different offerings.
The menu is set up in the center of the snack area.
On my recent visit, I tried just about everything they had to offer!
The first [Read more…]
Looking for some fun holiday treats? Look no further, Big Thunder Ranch is currently hosting the Jingle Jangle Jamboree; a one stop shop for fun games, cookie decorating, special snacks & SANTA!
The menu here is simple, Hot Dogs, Corn on the Cob, “Candy Cane” Cotton Candy, Apple Burritos, Cookie Decorating Kits and various beverages.
Our visit included the “Candy Cane” Cotton Candy & some Cookie Decorating. Let me break the sad news to you first. The cotton candy here DOES NOT taste like candy canes, it’s just “candy cane striped.” Even the cast member that I bought it from thought that it was peppermint flavored, but alas, that is a rumor. It’s still pretty though!
It’s dark and light pink swirled and still
This year Disney California Adventure is featuring a brand new holiday festival called Viva Navidad. It showcases Latino holiday traditions with music, food, and fun!
The colorful celebration has taken over the Paradise Garden area of Disney California Adventure and has some really fabulous food offerings now through January 6, 2014.
I recently visited the new snack cart, which is located just to the left of Goofy’s Sky School.
Here you can find a handful of authentic Mexican treats that make for a perfect snack while watching the Viva Navidad Street Party. The menu features three traditional snacks as well as Abuelita Hot Chocolate, assorted Coca Cola Beverages and some specialty cotton candy.
My absolute favorite item were the Bunuelos with Cajeta. I was lucky enough to try these delicious little crisps [Read more…]

The Disneyland Resort has officially kicked off their Holiday Time season, and this year they’ve added a super fun place to get your Christmas on: The Jingle Jangle Jamboree.
Located in the back of Big Thunder Ranch, the Jingle Jangle Jamboree is filled with all sorts of fun activities, entertainment, and most importantly — food!
When you visit the Jingle Jangle Jamboree, you’ll immediately notice the festive atmosphere.
With lots of fun things to do, the Jingle Jangle Jamboree is sure to get you into the holiday spirit. Activities include free games, special character visits, entertainment by Billy Hill and the Holiday Hillbillies, Santa & Mrs. Claus, Cookie Decorating (which we will post about soon), and some very special menu items.
I now give you, my friends, perhaps my most favorite discovery ever: Monte Cristo Bites! Actually, they are called “Merry Monte Cristo Bites” and I think I know why… I’ve never been merrier eating a snack!
Why so merry? Here’s the deal. I LOVE me a Monte Cristo sandwich. The problem, though? They are giant, a bit on the pricey side, AND you have to take the time to sit down, order, and eat them. Monte Cristo Bites, though? Nope. They come in a bag with mini sides of powdered sugar and blackberry jam.
For just $6.25, you can order yourself a bag of toasty goodness. Monte Cristo Bites are not [Read more…]
