Why We’re Worried About Going to EPCOT on January 12th

January is a very BIG month for Disney World.

Why? Well, in several ways, things are going back to the way they were BEFORE the pandemic closures. So, for the first time in almost four years, people will be flocking to the parks for the return of the Disney Dining Plan, unlimited park hopping, and lack of park reservation requirements for most tickets. All of this will take place on January 9th! While all of that is cool and all, something happens on January 12th that we think should be a holiday. Let’s talk about it.

If you love visiting the Disney Parks, then there’s a good chance that you love going on the RIDES. 🤩

We love the rides!

When you enter the rides, you’ll be presented with a big, long list of rules pertaining to the safety of yourself and others throughout the experience. While a lot of them don’t require a whole lot of thinking to figure out WHY the rules are in place, there are other rules that might seem nit-picky or a bit strange. Other, more technical rules might not even be listed at all, but Cast Members are looking out at all times to ensure that folks are being safe.  This post is dedicated to some of those!

One EPCOT Snack Spot Is CLOSED With No Reopening Date in Sight

One merchandise stand that’s been closed for three years FINALLY reopened in EPCOT, but there’s another stand that’s still closed in this park!

Disney has to close restaurants, attractions, snack stands, and other locations occasionally in order to complete refurbishments and update the spaces. For some of these smaller stands, it’s possible that there simply aren’t enough Cast Members to keep them all open. Whatever the resason, this EPCOT snack stand is closed with no reopening date in sight!

It’s the holiday season!

This year has flown by, and it feels WILD that we’re already nearing the prime of the holiday season. Now that the weather at Disney World has dropped slightly (Yay for temps below 80!), all the holiday decorations are up in the parks, and we’ve experienced the holiday parties, we’ve decided to do some more exploring regarding the fun things you can do WITHOUT a park ticket.
