And, we’ve got plenty of merchandise, construction, and food updates to share with you, so let’s dive right on in!
Although we can’t pass up dessert in Disney Springs, we’ve been missing those AMAZING Gideon’s chocolate chip cookies since they disappeared from The Polite Pig.
Gideon’s Bakehouse
Buuut, they’ll be making their way back in the shopping and dining district (along with a whole bunch of other goodies) when the official Gideon’s Bakehouse store opens later this year! While the bakery has taken over Rustic Cuff’s previous location, we’ve been keeping an eye on Gideon’s progress as signage pops up and pastry chefs are announced!
As Walt Disney World Resort continues its phased reopening, we’ve got some reopening news to report for the Disney Springs dining scene.

Although we’ve been glad to see Mickey, Minnie, and the whole gang back in Disney World, we’ve been having a great time posing with Baby Yoda in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge too!

We’ve been seeing all sorts of Star Wars goodies since we’ve like the talking Baby Yoda Toy, shoulder plush (who we think has been a GREAT co-co-pilot with us on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, might we add 😉), and cozy a spirit jersey.
Can you believe Disney Springs has been reopened now for a few months!? Since the shopping and dining district first welcomed guests back on May 20, additional locations have reopened along the way.
Mac and Origins are BOTH open!
As of today, two more shops have opened. Just when we thought our wallets were safe, both MAC and Origins opened their doors to shoppers!

We’re basically craving Disney snacks and treats all the time (even after we’ve had a bunch of them back in a newly re-opened Disney World)!

Although we’ve been back in the parks, we also have been excited to try our hand at some of our favorite Disney dishes in our own kitchens!
It’s been one of those weeks where we’ve spotted SO MUCH new merchandise all throughout Disney World (aaand we’ve totally burned a whole through our wallets).

We’re talkin’ Dug Hats, Tower of Terror Minnie Ears, SO MANY retro Disney shirts, and more. But, along with all the accessories we’ve spotted back in the parks, we’re ready to rep some of our favorite characters in Disney wearing the latest themed items!
It’s been pretty fun seeing all our pals out and about in Disney World, looking as adorable as ever!
Winnie the Pooh Frolicking Around!
Although we’ve been watching the new Character Cavalcades and hopping on our favorite attractions once again, we have especially loved grabbing new Disney merchandise to add to our growing collection back home.
