On May 20th, Disney Springs began a phased reopening. And we’ve been there every step of the way to see how each business has been adapting to the changes.
In fact, we’ve been visiting every day so we can report back on all the dining, shopping, and safety info you need.

In light of the impending reopening, Disney has made some MASSIVE changes to the way things are done. They’ve canceled what feels like everything for everybody — no FastPasses, no dining reservations, no new ticket sales, and more.

We stopped by Disney Springs to check out the newly reopened locations and, of course, enjoy some eats!
Disney Springs began a phased reopening on May 20th, with select third-party shops and restaurants welcoming back guests. And the new health and safety measures weren’t the only thing that was different — we also spotted menu updates at several of the Disney Springs restaurants. Here are the biggest menu changes we saw!
Disney Springs is set to begin a phased reopening on May 20th and we’ve been working to compile a list of all the restaurants that will be opening with the first phase.
Patina Restaurant Group is the organization behind many delicious Disney Springs restaurants including Morimoto Asia, Vivoli il Gelato, and Pizza Ponte. These locations are planning to reopen on May 22nd. Patina just released their hours and the new “Dine Safe” program that the locations will implement in response to the global health crisis. It’s time to say Hello to the new Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill!
Of course, Chef Wolfgang Puck is no stranger to Disney Springs. His Marketplace Counter Service location, Wolfgang Puck Express, has remained consistently open. And previously he operated Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe and Dining Room as well as another express location in the West Side, which closed in August 2017. (The former Cafe location will soon be home to Jaleo by Chef José Andrés.)
So we’re very excited to be at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill to experience once again the Chef’s California cuisine… with some twists from Wolfgang Puck himself — on its opening day!
