While we already picked up our Mad Tea Party Minnie Ears and Loungefly Backpack from Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collection which came out last month!
We just spotted the perfect dress to take for a “spin” as soon as the Disney parks reopen!
If you’re anything like us, you’ve been staring at the same white walls for WELL over a month now!
But you know what? Nobody has to LIVE THIS WAY! In fact, we’ve decided to “spiffy” up our places with a fresh new look! And we’re getting our color selections from some very unlikely sources of inspiration! (HINT: If you’re jonesing for a trip to Disney as much as we are right now, we think you’ll know several of THESE colors!)
Last week, we took a virtual spin — thanks to a video provided by Disney — on Magic Kingdom’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Walt Disney World. And this week, we’re heading to Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort for a virtual ride on Pixar Pier’s Incredicoaster!
And, yep, this video adventure is another Ride & Learn, so fun facts will be presented while you zoom into this coaster themed for “The Incredibles.” [Read more…]
Alright, listen; we’ve got some burning questions!
There’s no doubt about it, there’s a lot of uncertainty about the current situation. And while we understand that Disney World will remain closed until there is more clarity on how things progress, there are a few questions that we hope they’ll address sooner rather than later.
Here are six questions we’re still waiting on Disney to answer!
Disney theme parks around the world have been closed throughout the current health crisis, and there are a lot of questions about what policies and procedures may be put into place once they reopen.
One of the biggest concerns Disney has right now is figuring out how to safely get guests and Cast Members back into the parks. We’re certain Disney won’t re-open the parks until they come up with the best possible solution. But in order to keep everyone safe while in their care, there are probably going to have to be some BIG changes. One of those changes might be a mandatory health screening.
Ghouls from realms near and far, there’s a swingin’ wake happening that you DON’T want to miss!
Although we can’t visit the actual Haunted Mansion in the Disney Parks right now, the grim grinning ghosts are bringing the ride to you. (*Cue evil laughter*)
These days, a simple photograph of the Disney parks means the world to us! Seeing the occasional update on how the parks are doing, even if it’s just a snapshot, truly brightens our day. So when we see new photos emerge, we want to share them with you!
We got a special Earth Day treat from Rebecca Campbell, president of the Disneyland Resort. She shared beautiful photographs on Instagram from inside the parks on a trip she took yesterday to check on the essential Cast Members currently working. Her caption as she walked through the parks reads, “I had to stop a few times and acknowledge how beautiful it still looks.”
Exploring the far-off planet of Batuu can be an exciting experience!
Every time we visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney World or Disneyland, we see something we didn’t notice before. The best part? The world of Batuu is moving and working around us with citizens and stories. This has created the opportunity for a BUNCH of park-inspired reading material, but we’re particularly excited for the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge: Traveler’s Guide to Batuu!
Call us nostalgic, but we miss all the old toys we had growing up! It’s probably got something to do with all the retro merch the Disney parks have been releasing lately!
That’s why we’ve decided to resurrect this relic from our Rainbow Brite-loving, Care Bear huggin’ pasts — SHRINKY DINKS!
One of the many ways we’re keeping ourselves busy these days is re-creating our favorite Disney recipes at home. One day we’re stress baking, the next day we mixing together a cocktail (or five).
Today, however, we’re all about Disneyland and their famous Monte Cristo Sandwich. Fans come from all over the world to Cafe Orleans and Blue Bayou for this signature dish, and we want to share with YOU how easy it is to recreate it at home!
