The Mint Julep Bar located in New Orleans Square is essentially a must-do for every Disneyland guest. You’ll find it tucked into the patio area of French Market Restaurant and right next to the New Orleans Square train station.
It’s almost all in the name here. [Read more…]
We have some fantastic — or Fantasmic! — news for anyone planning a visit to Disneyland. The nighttime spectacular Fantasmic! returns to the park on July 17th, and reservations for Fantasmic Dining Packages are now available for booking.

Disneyland is keeping a secret that you’ve GOT to know about!
Disneyland is undergoing lots of changes and improvements these days. Y’all know that the Summer of Heroes is underway until September 1o, and we’ve had lots of chances to try the yummy heroes-themed eats. Oh, and Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout opened, so there’s that. 😀
Back in June we gave you a little heads up that Bengal BBQ is getting indoor seating — and it’s officially happened!
In fact, two shops — Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost and South Seas Traders — have both closed, creating an open space for a decent amount of covered and cooled seating.
In the Land of Matterhorn Macaroons, Seasonal Whoopie Pies, and Gourmet Doughnuts, one must find an appropriate, salty foil. And that, my friends, is the proud duty of the Disneyland Pickle.
Many guests have applauded these individually-packaged cucumber pickles as a low-calorie option. Luckily, they’re also super tasty and crave-worthy whether you’re counting calories or not. Often overlooked, this counter service spot may have a teensy ordering area, but it’s packed with personality! If you’re looking for it, just turn the corner from the much larger Golden Horseshoe, park your horse, and you’re there. 😀 [Read more…]

Enter our DiningInDisney pal Heather Sievers who, as always, has this plan on lock. In fact, she gave this slushie combo a swirl back in May!
We need to write a jingle in which the only words are “Secret Menu Item! Yeah!” because we feel the need to sing whenever we discover a new, amazing Disney food item that’s, like, part of a secret food society. And we have a totally awesome one for ya. It involves…tater tots.
Before you run out the door to get to the airport for your emergency Disney tot run, you’ll need to know that these secret menu items are located at Disneyland’s River Belle Terrace.
So, remember just a few weeks ago when we paid a visit to Bengal Barbecue in Disneyland to try their new Jungle Julep?
Well, just like always, we took our Jungle Julep and strolled around with it. Why? Because — even with the popularity of this Adventureland Skewer spot — this little kiosk has never had a dedicated seating area. [Read more…]
