Welcome to the TOP 10 RIDES at Disneyland for 2025!
Please keep your hands and feet inside the video at all times — and NO flash photography!
We are HUGE fans of the Haunted Mansion, and yes, we LOVE the OG Haunted Mansion in Disneyland.
Now, this version of Haunted Mansion recently got a bit of an update with a completely new queue area that is SO cool. It also got a new gift shop called Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond (and, well, we’re still not sure how we feel about that gift shop). Now, though a new Haunted Mansion souvenir has dropped and if you love Haunted Mansion as much as we do, you’re going to want to grab it!
Happy New Year from Disneyland! We’re celebrating this epiphany the best way we know how: with FOOD! We are Disney FOOD Blog, after all. It’s kind of our whole thing. And, it wouldn’t truly be a new year at Disneyland without heading out down to the Bayou!
We’re heading down to New Orleans (Square) at this park to check out a festive returning treat that we look forward to getting every year. That’s right — King Cake is back at Disneyland and we’re bringing you our FULL review.
So Disney made a lot of MASSIVE announcements in 2024, especially about the parks.
We learned about all kinds of new lands and rides coming to Disney World and Disneyland. Now, we don’t have a LOT of details on many of these projects, but we expect to find out more soon, as well as learn more about Disney’s financial state, as a whole. That’s because Disney is hosting its Q1 2025 earnings call on February 5th — and we expect to get some BIG announcements during that call.
Okay, I am a BIG Haunted Mansion fan, as well as a BIG Disneyland fan, so imagine my excitement when I learned that the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland was getting a brand new queue and gift shop (honestly, both were greatly needed).
So when the queue recently opened, I had a chance to look through all the photos, and it looks pretty cool. I like how it’s different from the queue in Disney World (because if they were the same, that would be BORING). Then the new gift shop, Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond, opened, and well, let’s just say, something felt off…Then I started seeing a lot of discussion online about some of the decor INSIDE the shop, and well, let’s just say you can find some of it (or similar items) on Amazon… No, really!
Some pretty HUGE things are coming to Disneyland, including a new Coco ride and an Avatar-themed land. Even Downtown Disney has been getting a LOT of new updates, like four NEW restaurants that recently opened PLUS a reimagined candy shop that should be opening SOON.
However, one of the most exciting things happening in Disneyland is the Avengers Campus expansion that will bring two NEW rides to Disney California Adventure. Well, we’ve got a HUGE update on that front: construction begins THIS WEEKEND on that expansion, according to The Orange County Register.
Okay, so sometimes Disney comes up with some unique snack ideas. For example, we’re always up for trying new DOLE Whip combos (and we haven’t seen a DOLE Whip yet that we don’t love).
In Disneyland, we sometimes get some unique churro flavors (although, let’s face it, the Fluffernutter Churro is GOALS). There’s also the Churro Toffee that combines churro flavors with toffee and somehow makes both even better. Of course, we also love when Disney takes its classic Mickey beignet and creates some new flavors. Well, Disney has done it again — mixing some ideas to create a new snack, but this time, it’s just not really imaginative.
Disneyland Resort introduces new menu items all the time, and we try it ALLLL make sure you know what’s worth your money and what you may want to skip.

Chocolate Hazelnut Mickey Beignets
We spotted some new menu offerings over at Refreshment Corner in Disneyland Park and decided it was the perfect day to give them a try. Are these new menu items worth a try? Let’s just say we have a LOT to say.
Is it it just us or does food just taste better when it’s Mickey-shaped?
Like we know there are better pretzels out there than Mickey pretzels, but we will ALWAYS get a Mickey pretzel because it makes us happy. Mickey bars are pretty simple, but they can sometimes be the BEST snack ever on a hot day. Then there’s the Mickey Beignet, which is something we’re ALWAYS going to order, no matter what, ESPECIALLY in Disneyland. However, Mickey Beignets just got an upgrade and, dare we say, we think they might now be even BETTER?
California is under a state of emergency as major fires rip through the Los Angeles area. Evacuation orders are in place in several areas. The fires have decimated homes, businesses, and schools, and officials believe the fires will continue to burn and cause more destruction on Thursday, January 9th.

According to the New York Times, Traci Park, a Los Angeles city councilwoman, said, “This is going to be devastating, a devastating loss, for all of Los Angeles.” Now, Disney CEO Bob Iger is speaking out about the fires as well.
