When Disney World comes out with a new set of Mickey or Minnie ears, it’s big news.

Lately, Disney’s track record with new ears has been very mixed. We found some of the prettiest ears of all time at the Norway pavilion in EPCOT, but we also spotted some ears that looked like they’d been made out of our grandmother’s couch material. But we just spotted even MORE new ears, and we think these definitely belong in the “win” category.

The hotel is celebrating its own 50th Anniversary, since it opened on October 1st, 1971 along with Disney World. Lately the hotel has also finished up some big projects, like new guest rooms, an updated lobby, and the brand new Steakhouse 71 restaurant. The Contemporary Resort has been under renovations to soon feature guest rooms themed by Disney and Pixar’s The Incredibles films, and we’ve recently seen promising progress on the construction. Still, some construction continues as guests staying at the hotel face a minor inconvenience today.
