Disney World has had to make some tough calls as it gets ready to reopen its theme parks.
Magic Kingdom
They’ve decided to cancel Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween parties this year as well as their Eat to the Beat concert series, a free nightly musical performance at Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival.
Disney World’s theme parks will begin their phased reopenings starting with Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on July 11th followed by Hollywood Studios and Epcot on July 15th.

And now, Disney has just announced Epcot will be offering a modified version of its Epcot Food and Wine Festival starting on the very first day of its initial grand reopening! July 15th!!

Since its inaugural year in 1995, the Epcot Food and Wine Festival has continued to grow in size and popularity. It’s an annual event that many Disney fans (us included!) look forward to exploring year after year.
But it seems likely that the festival will undergo some changes this year. We’ve seen the health and safety measures that were implemented with the reopening of Shanghai Disneyland and Disney Springs. So, how might the Food and Wine Festival be different?

We’re daydreaming of our next trip to the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival!

When it comes to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, we’re constantly impressed by the awesome menu items Disney brings to the table — literally! Here at DFB, Disney food might just be our favorite thing at the parks! There are so many options it can be hard to choose our favorites — and Disney keeps making it even WORSE by adding new treats and snacks each time we visit! 😉

During the four-month-long closure of Disney World, a lot of Disney trips were canceled automatically by the company or by the families who were supposed to be going on them.
