Disney World has been making a lot of changes this year, especially at Epcot, where the whole entranceway and Future World are undergoing a major transformation.
And this morning one of the most noticeable changes we saw something we didn’t see…
For weeks now we keep seeing “October 1st!” “October 1st!” virtually EVERYWHERE! And yeah, that date is pretty important for Disney World fans. For starters, the Magic Kingdom will be celebrating its 48th anniversary! We’re only TWO YEARS away from the 50th people. 🙂 And it’s also Epcot’s birthday, of course.
Buuuut…October 1st is also important for a few other reasons this year thanks to a few new opportunities and experiences that are debuting around the resort! Let’s take a peek… .
Hello there, world travelers! Welcome to our latest roundup of What’s New in Epcot.
We’ve got a lot to cover today, including construction updates, macaron packaging, and some adorable new merch! Let’s get started.
Disney World is in high gear right now with all the construction happening around the parks!
And Epcot is basically the biggest hub with the massive transformation going on including the building of the Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster, the Space 220 restaurant, and more. Buuut, we’ve spotted a lil sumthin’ sumthin’ going on over at the Odyssey Pavilion to prepare for this Fall.
Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another DFB Video and today we’re talking about a few reasons you might not want to go in Disney World in 2020 (and a couple reasons why you should)!
There is so much change happening in Disney World right now — park transformations, new transportation systems, exciting ride construction, and MORE!
Howdy, everybody! It’s time for another roundup of What’s New in Epcot!
Today we’ve got a lot to tell you about, including menu changes, construction updates, and lots of new merch — including some adorable Finding Nemo buttons.
Disney is everchanging and evergrowing, especially with the massive transformation taking place at Epcot.
And while there are a lot of exciting changes taking place, we were wondering (and we know you are, too!) if the construction and overall transformation taking place at Epcot will affect the Food and Wine Festival this year. So, let’s take a look at a few of the changes taking place around Epcot to see how they affect the Food and Wine Festival this year. ):
Epcot is currently undergoing a MASSIVE transformation and a lot of changes have started to take place.
Locations like Fountain View and Club Cool (bye-bye, for now, Beverly) have officially closed. And Epcot’s Character Spot meet-and-greet location has been relocated.
The first steps in the redesign of Future World in Epcot have begun!

World Celebration in Epcot
We’ve known for a few months that parts of Future World would begin closing September 8th, including Club Cool (we still love ya, Beverly!) and the Fountain of Nations. Other parts of Future World, like Electric Umbrella and Mouse Gear, will be closing in the coming months. Well, friends, we’re sad to say they wasted no time setting up for the impending construction.
When one door closes, another one opens…
And the doors are closing to Club Cool in Disney World. (Raise your hand if you’re as sad as we are!)
