The holiday season is coming to Disneyland, and that includes some new offerings this year.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland

However, there’s ANOTHER holiday that Disneyland celebrates that Star Wars fans might know about. It’s Life Day, which is a Wookiee holiday that celebrates family, joy, and harmony. So, basically, it’s sort of like the Wookiee version of Christmas. Now, Life Day gets celebrated in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland every year, and this year, the celebration is bringing a new popcorn bucket and snacks.

The holiday season is in full swing at Disney World and we’re taking in all the sights, sounds, smells, and of course — snacks!

The parks have been decorated with garland, wreaths, and trees, and even the Disney World hotels are getting in on the festivities. We already checked out the gorgeous gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian, but there’s another impressive gingerbread display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, too. And, it’s officially open!

Of course, there’s a very famous International Festival of the Holidays in EPCOT at Disney World, where you can try festive treats from around the world and enjoy the many holiday stories. But there is another holiday festival at Disneyland Resort, as well! Disney Festival of Holidays takes place at Disney California Adventure each year and features some delectable traditional, California-inspired goodies, and it starts SOON! When we stopped by the park the other day, we happened to notice that the park is gearing up for the celebration with several booths and MENUS up so you can start planning your eating.

No, it’s not the decorations in Magic Kingdom and the other parks, although don’t get us wrong — we LOVE seeing all the festive decor. It’s also not Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which we enjoy every year AND is a lot of fun. It’s not even looking forward to Jollywood Nights. No, the BEST part of the holiday season in Disney World is THE SNACKS. Disney World releases TONS of holiday snacks starting this time of year and we are SO lucky that we get to try them all out. So we just recently popped into a few Disney World hotels to try out some new holiday snacks.
