It’s spring break season and there is a lot happening at Disney World!
The EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing, there are new treats to try, the 50th anniversary is ending soon, and TRON Lightcycle / Run is opening in less than a month! So with all of this excitement and the spring break crowds heading to the parks, what do the wait times look like right now?
Magic Kingdom is Walt Disney World’s crowning jewel. It’s the quintessential theme park featuring memorable rides. If you are a returning guest, I bet you still remember your first visit!
Designed with six lands extending from a central hub, families spend their time traversing between Main Street U.S.A., Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Liberty Square, Frontierland, and Adventureland. Part of the immense appeal of Magic Kingdom is the detailed theming of each area. Many attractions have multi-generational appeal, and most rides are absolutely well-suited to adults.
Still, we have our favorite rides and want to share them with you. Breaking our recommendations into four categories, let’s take a look at the attractions that grown-ups should not miss when touring Magic Kingdom. Get your comfy walking shoes on as we’ll be traversing the park… let’s go!

When is the BEST time to go to Disney World?!
Well, that answer totally depends on YOU. Do you want to avoid crowds at all costs? Don’t visit during summer or spring break. Do you want to be in the crowds on the opening day of TRON Lightcycle / Run? Prepare for busy parks. If you are someone who is seeking lower crowds and wait times on a Disney World trip, right now might be the best time to visit Disney World!
‘it’s a small world’ is classic Disney, so you may be surprised to know that the ride in Magic Kingdom has just gotten an update!
We saw dolls in wheelchairs added to ‘it’s a small world’ in Disneyland in November 2022. At the time, Disney said it would also be adding similar dolls in Disney World, and one was added this week!
If you were hoping to visit Disney World during the slow season, you’ve officially missed out.
Although crowds and wait times have really depended on whether there was a holiday or special event that week, now we’ve seen a HUGE jump in the wait times! This comes right before March which kicks off spring break season, the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival, more TRON previews, and more.
Are you ready?
If you’re heading to Disney World soon, beware! The crowds are already starting to pick back up. We saw the highest price for Genie+ we have in WEEKS and that price is based on demand. We’ve also noticed more crowds in the parks as people flock to Disney World for the holiday weekend. Spring break is right around the corner as well. But what were the wait times like in the calm before the storm?
Walt Disney World is truly a multi-generational destination. From grandparents to parents of toddlers, you’ll find attractions for everyone in the family. We’ve been on these rides with our own children and now we want to share our park-tested tips with you. In between rides, your toddlers will be fascinated with the shows, parades, characters, snacks, and play areas. Magic Kingdom is a full 1 or more days of family fun!
We realize that kids, especially toddlers, may like something one day and very much dislike it the next. If your toddler is currently fearful of the dark, things that spin or go up and down, or even loud noises, we’re going to clue you in as to which rides, they may enjoy on your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Since many families begin their Disney World vacations in the Magic Kingdom, let’s look at the best rides for toddlers when visiting this iconic park.
Although this is Disney World’s calm before the storm (the storm being spring break crowds), there are plenty of reasons to visit the parks right now!
TRON Lightcycle / Run is now in previews with its first-of-a-kind Disney ride feature, adaptive seating, and on-ride photos. The Festival of the Arts is still happening in EPCOT (even though it’s almost over!). There are plenty of new delicious eats to try all over Disney World. Maybe that’s why we started to see the wait times go UP this week!
