Disney World’s $250 Lightning Lane Premier Pass Just Got EASIER To Use
Disney World’s pay-to-skip the line service has seen so many different changes in less than a year that it can be hard to keep up.
Over the summer, Genie+ transitioned into Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Individual Lightning Lane transitioned into Lightning Lane Single Pass. While the new Lightning Lane system offers guests a way to pay to skip the line, a few tweaks were made by allowing reservations and purchases to be made in advance, and tiers, similar to those used with the FastPass+ system were brought back. Well not too long ago, Disney added a third Lightning Lane option and the rules have once again changed, but it is good news!
You’re a Real Disney World Fan if You Know These 3 Lightning Lane Hacks
There are three different Lightning Lane options at Disney World that you can purchase for your trip.
Lightning Lane is the paid skip-the-line service at the four parks in Disney World. There is Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Lightning Lane Single Pass, and Lightning Lane Premier Pass. You can purchase each of these days ahead of your trip for the parks and rides (in the case of Single Pass) of your choosing. The pricing for all three passes varies by day and park, but they can each save you some time standing in lines on your vacation. Something strange is happening on the My Disney Experience app, and it has been ongoing for two days.
When you look on the Disney World app, you can usually see Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Single Pass, and Premier Pass prices for up to 21 days out. It’s a great way to plan your budget for your upcoming trips if you plan to purchase any of these passes. However, over the past couple of days, the app has been having some technical difficulties.
