It’s finally here!!!
Disney just announced the opening date for the new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge coming to Magic Kingdom.
Just a few days ago, a popular Magic Kingdom attraction went under refurbishment for a short period of time, with a set reopening date of July 26th.
There she is!
So we headed to the park bright and early to check out the ride to see what had changed…and found that it wasn’t open just yet. We thought it was just a minor delay, but let’s just say, we’ve since been proven VERY wrong.
Stand up! We’ve got BIG news, people. One of the BEST new things to hit Magic Kingdom just opened early. That’s right. The brand-new Disney Starlight parade is about to soft-open in Magic Kingdom, and we are there for a first look.

From the spectacle of the Happily Ever After fireworks show to the charming music playing on Main Street, U.S.A., there’s no better feeling than watching the park come to life at night. Disney is in the middle of MULTIPLE construction projects in Magic Kingdom. Prepare to see “Please pardon our pixie dust” signs EVERYWHERE. Now, most of the time, Disney keeps its construction work behind walls. However, behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, it looks like Disney is clearing land for its new Villains Land, and we have a NEW LOOK at the latest progress!
BIG changes have hit Magic Kingdom’s flagship merchandise store and we’ve got the photos to prove it!

There’s nothing like coming home from your Disney World trip with a bag full of new souvenirs. But, if you’re heading to Magic Kingdom soon, it might be a little bit harder for you to shop ’till you drop like you normally would. The Emporium is currently undergoing construction, leaving a large portion of this store unavailable.
