Alright, who else is excited for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to open?

The Princess and the Frog-themed ride is currently under construction in Magic Kingdom and Disneyland. So far, we’ve gotten a pretty vague opening timeline (sometime in 2024), but some great sneak peeks as to what we can expect. Now, though, we’ve gotten one heck of a sneak peek, filled to the brim with details, and we’re so excited to share it.

There are SO many things happening today at Walt Disney World. From the return of the Disney Dining Plan to park hopping going back to normal — there is A LOT of change. Time to buckle up, folks. It’s been nearly a year since Splash Mountain closed its gates for good at Disney World.

Now, we’ve been checking in a few times per week to check out the progress on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! The upcoming Princess and the Frog-themed ride will share the same ride layout and mechanics (that we know of), but will feature theming straight from the bayou of Louisiana. We’ve seen some GREAT concept art and sneak peeks, and we can never resist seeing the construction take place for ourselves. This week, we checked in on the attraction’s progress and noticed something.

Well, there’s a scene that comes to mind every time we visit Disney World. It’s the scene where Templeton the rat is wandering around the county fair and singing, “The fair is a veritable smorgasbord!” Well, Disney World is a veritable smorgasbord. Yep, there are delicious and tempting eats everywhere you turn at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Except… they’re often pretty ‘spensive. It’s easy to fog eat your way through the parks, and then you’ve blown a large chunk of your vacation budget. Not on our watch! Noooo way. We’re here to help you snack the financially savvy way. Yo ho, yo ho, it’s a BIG day for Pirates and Pirates fans everywhere!

Yep, Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom is one of the attractions that is considered to be an OG — with this attraction popping up just two years after the official opening of the park in 1971, and six years after the attraction arrived to Disneyland. Well, on December 15th, Disney World’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction reached a HUGE milestone.
When it comes to beloved Magic Kingdom rides, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is at the top of the list for many.
