Some People are Getting SUPER Lucky in EPCOT Right Now (Beep Beep) 🚙

Something HUGE is happening in EPCOT right now.

Test Track has been closed for over a year, but it’s getting ready to reopen with a new theme on July 22nd. Now, we already got a preview of the ride (and Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, Golden Oak residents, and Club 33 Members have been checking it out, too). However, some OTHER lucky Disney World visitors have been offered the RARE chance to ride the new Test Track before it opens! And by lucky…we mean SUPER lucky…as in maybe they need to go buy lottery tickets later.

CONFIRMED: Test Track Virtual Queue Added to Disney World App Ahead of Annual Passholder Previews

For the past few months, EPCOT has been a little…slower. That’s because one of the park’s iconic (and speedy!) attractions has been closed for refurbishment. Dear Test Track — we miss you!

Disney Imagineers have been busy transforming Test Track (again) for EPCOT fans to “discover the future of transportation on the thrilling road to tomorrow.” Think of it like a blend of the past, present, and future! Soon, this ride will officially open to the public, but before it does, Disney World Annual Passholders are being treated to an exclusive preview of the attraction. Disney Confirmed 6 BIG Additions for EPCOT’s Reimagined Test Track Attraction

Disney will unveil a brand-new take on a classic EPCOT ride in 2025!

In June 2024, Test Track closed to be reimagined as a new, third version of the ride. The new iteration of the attraction will take inspiration from its predecessor, World of Motion, and is currently scheduled to debut in 2025. And, if that isn’t enough to get you hyped for the revamp, there are also 6 BIG additions coming to Test Track 3.0!

Test Track is now Closed

This EPCOT attraction closed in June to be reimagined into a third iteration. The re-theme seems to be inspired by Test Track’s predecessor, World of Motion. While no opening date has been confirmed for the attraction, it seems that even more progress has been made on Test Track.
