Ahhhh… the Mickey Beignet — one of the most perfect foods ON EARTH! We know how much you love ’em — and want to EAT ’em every time you visit Disneyland. In the past, you could only find these Mickey-shaped babies at Cafe Orleans or the Mint Julep Bar over at New Orleans Square!
But guess what? Such is no longer the case! Now you can get these bad little doughboys at a NEW SPOT in Disneyland!
Spooky Halloween, everybody! While you might’ve already heard about the fabulous trick-or-treat trails at the Oogie Boogie Bash this year, did you know there’s another way to fill your pails with SO MUCH CANDY???
That’s right! Keep reading for details on how you can get in on this exclusive Disneyland happening!
Are you lookin’ to go to Disneyland in 2020?
Then, do we have some news for you! As of TODAY, guests can book a Disneyland 2020 vacation package!
When DCA’s Cove Bar closed on January 8 as part of Paradise Pier’s transition to Pixar Pier, fans of the bar’s innovative (and beautiful) drinks (including the fun secret menu!) lamented the loss of this popular spot. What would become of their technicolor concoctions?
Well, now we know that at least one of Cove Bar’s fan favorites has found a new home! The Fun Wheel is now available at Alfresco Tasting Terrace!

While you’re checking out ALL THE FOOD around the Festive Foods Marketplace for Disneyland’s Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure, you might also want to be on the lookout for additional offerings around Paradise Pier!
In celebration of ¡Viva Navidad! throughout the Festival, look for outdoor vending stops offering items such as Elote (street-style corn with mayonnaise, parmesan cheese and tajin — AAAAH SO GOOOOD), Horchata (a sweet rice beverage with vanilla and cinnamon), Jamaica (traditional sweetened hibiscus tea), Chicharrón (a puffed wheat wagon wheel served with tapatio and lime wedges), and Strawberry Paleta.
Additionally, Paradise Garden Grill is serving a special seasonal menu until the Festival ends on January 7, 2018. Selections include a Trio of Street Tacos with carnitas, carne asada, and chicken, House-made Pozole, a Torta al Pastor served on a soft telera roll, and beverages including Sangria. You can check out the full menu here on our Festival of Holidays Menu Page.

I know, I know: you’re still catching your breath after our whirlwind 2017 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival coverage… ‘cuz so am I. But did you know that just days before the Festival kicked off, I spent some quality time on the west coast, too? (Well, you did if you follow me on Instagram!)
Yep! I went to Disneyland! And of course my trip included a stop at Paradise Pier in Disney California Adventure.
This super fun, boardwalk-themed area is full of lights, music, laughter, and mega-good eats. We’re talking Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta, Bayside Brews, and the famous Corn Dog Castle, for starters! Ariel’s Grotto offers Character Dining, and you’ll also find Paradise Garden Grill, where you can nosh on Mediterranean-inspired skewers, PLUS my very favorite spot: Cove Bar (where you can check out the Secret Menu!).
But on this visit I had my sights set on something a little sweeter. Enter Paradise Pier Ice Cream Co.! [Read more…]
As you may be aware, we are huge fans of the Cove Bar at Disney’s California Adventure. Offering amazing views of Paradise Pier, above par pub grub (hello, Lobster Nachos!), and terrific — even secret — cocktails, it’s got it all.
Of course, we aren’t the only fans of this beautiful bar, as evidenced by the often-encountered lengthy wait times for a seat. [Read more…]
Disneyland food guru (and our Dining in Disneyland columnist), Heather Sievers, fit a visit to the brand new Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta at Disney California Adventure into a packed weekend! Check out her review!
Last Friday, three new establishments opened up at Disney California Adventure and, honestly, I didn’t think I was going to be able to check them out until August. Why am I gone for a month you ask? Well, as you read this, my family and I are on our way to Barcelona to board the Disney Magic for an amazing Mediterranean cruise (yes, you will hear much more about this at a later date!).
The new eateries are located in the Paradise Pier section of DCA and include Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta, Paradise Garden Grill, & a beer vendor called Bayside Brews (Editor’s Note: A first look at Bayside Brews is coming up later today).
Anyhow, in between packing and preparing, I just HAD to squeeze in a trip over to DCA to check out the new food. Unfortunately, I was only able to eat at Pizza Omm Mow Mow’s replacement: Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta.
When we first walked up, I noticed immediately how amazing the new dining area was. Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta is right next door to the Paradise Garden Grill (formerly known as Burger Invasion, aka McDonald’s). So, the enormous seating area is shared by these two establishments.
We loved the openness of the area and also appreciated that there were options for [Read more…]
As we previously mentioned here, two new restaurants are slated to open in Disneyland.
Mark your calendars for July 1, 2011, when two new counter-service restaurants open at Disney California Adventure. The new eateries will share a 900 seat location in Paradise Pier where they’ll serve lunch and dinner including healthy menu items.
With an on-stage kitchen, the menu will feature flatbreads, pastas and salads tossed fresh! Flatbread choices will include cheese or pepperoni for less adventurous diners. For guests that want more variety, choose a Portobello mushroom and spinach option.
Pasta lovers can twirl their forks with spaghetti and savor meatballs on the side. Try the pasta mixed with chicken in a sun-dried tomato sauce or sample the ravioli (did we mention it is a five-cheese version?) with pesto and toasted pine nuts.
Salads can be hearty too! Choose between
