CONFIRMED: Disney Announces Previews for Test Track

Are you ready for some new rides? Well, Disney World is certainly working on giving those to you. We’ve got new rides coming to the new land in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Pueblo Esperanza. We’re getting Disney’s first suspended roller coaster in the new Monsters, Inc. land coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom is getting TWO new Cars rides PLUS a Villains land with new rides.

In EPCOT, Test Track is getting a complete overhaul, which means it will be technically like a new ride when it reopens on July 22nd. Disney has announced specific groups will be able to preview the attraction before it opens to the public.

NEWS: Disney Set To Open BOTH Water Parks SOON Following Huge Summer Announcement

Summer is right around the corner, which means if you’re heading to Disney World soon, you’ll be in for some fun in the sun.

Well, summer is a great time to visit Disney World’s water parks, especially now that Disney World hotel guests get FREE water park tickets on their arrival day. Here’s the thing, though: usually only one water park is open at a time, so that’s the one you have to go to. BUT that will all be changing in just a few days when BOTH Disney World water parks will be open at the same time.

Typhoon Lagoon Is FINALLY Open Again in Disney World!

Typhoon Lagoon is officially OPEN! The Disney World water park has been closed since November 2024, but if you have patiently waited to ride down Miss Adventure Falls or Crush ‘n’ Gusher, your time has finally come.

Typhoon Lagoon has reopened as of May 1st, 2025, and while Blizzard Beach has now closed for a short refurb, we have some exciting news. Beginning May 21st, BOTH Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open for the summer. Now you will have to choose which water park you want to go to! We still have a few weeks until that happens, but we are at Typhoon Lagoon for its grand reopening.

Test Track Set to Reopen in EPCOT This Summer

One of Disney World’s busiest rides is ALMOST ready to restart its engine.

EPCOT’s Test Track has been closed for refurbishment since June 2024, as Disney Imagineering transforms the attraction into a third incarnation. We’ve known since the D23 Ultimate Fan event last August that the attraction would be reopening sometime in the summer of 2025, and now things seem to be revving up.

NEWS: Disney Files NEW Extended Permit for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

A LOT is happening at Magic Kingdom in Disney World. A LOT.

First, let’s just say we’re excited about the new nighttime parade, Disney Starlight, coming to the park. We are BEYOND hyped for the new Villains land coming to the park. We’re not so happy about all the construction that’s going to start soon to make way for a new Cars-themed area in Frontierland (well, we are excited about the new rides, but not the construction walls). In the process, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is closed and in the middle of a huge refurbishment, and a new permit might hint at when Disney World expects the ride to reopen.

That includes Early Theme Park Entry for those staying at ALL Disney World hotels, as well as Extended Evening Hours for those staying in Deluxe hotels. The Gran Fiesta Tour Has Reopened in EPCOT – Here’s What Changed

If you’ve visited EPCOT recently, you’ve no doubt visited the Mexico pavilion (if only to grab a drink at La Cava del Tequila, as one does).

Of course, you’ve probably also checked in on the classic ride Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros. Well, we were recently surprised a few months ago when we learned that the ride would be closing for two months for refurbishment. Well, Gran Fiesta Tour has reopened — and let’s just say, Disney made a TON of updates to the ride that have left us VERY impressed.

REMINDER: This Popular EPCOT Attraction Is Reopening After a Lengthy Closure

After being closed for just over two months, the Gran Fiesta Tour is scheduled to reopen at EPCOT in a matter of days!

The boat ride-style attraction, located inside the World Showcase’s massive, completely indoor Mexico Pavilion, has been shuttered since January 6th, when it was one of several Disney World attractions to close for refurbishment.

After a lengthy closure, we finally know when Jolly Holiday Bakery Café will reopen in Disneyland!

This iconic Disneyland restaurant is beloved for its many sweet treats and delectable eats, but it has been closed for refurbishment since January. At first, Disney didn’t indicate when this restaurant would potentially reopen, but after sleuthing our way around the Disneyland calendar, we think we know when that might be!

NEWS: Disney Announces ANOTHER Ride Closure and Hints at a Ride Reopening in California Adventure

You just can never escape ride closures in Disneyland. Sometimes, rides go down temporarily for issues. Other times, rides close for routine maintenance.

However, Disneyland Resort has plans to close multiple attractions this spring, including “it’s a small world,” Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout, and The Disneyland Story Presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. Well, now, it’s time to add ANOTHER ride to the list that will be temporarily closing soon, and it’s another popular one: Indiana Jones Adventure.
