Unless you live under a rock somewhere, you know that the latest iteration of the Star Wars franchise — The Last Jedi — opens today, and you know the Disney Parks are leaping into the merchandise battle with amazing Star Wars souvenirs. (And we aren’t complaining!)
Our pal Carlye Wisel (find her at CarlyeWisel.com!) hooked us up with some pics of a Captain Phasma Stein that You. Must. Acquire.
It comes with your choice of grapes or pineapple — but while we appreciate some healthy eats from time to time, that’s not really why you’re buying it.
If you’re preparing to set sail on the Disney Fantasy, you need to know that a brand new sweet shop recently opened on board Disney Cruise Line’s youngest ship!
Y’all! Free Pastry Alert! Free Pastry Alert! (Note to self: make “Free Pastry Alert” a thing.)
If you’re a fan of Amorette’s Patisserie (or been jonesing to give it a try!), this is a fun way to get not only a great souvenir but also a spectacular pastry! We’re not sure how long this will be in effect, but at present, you can get a free Amorette’s pastry(!) with the purchase of a caricature!
If the only thing better than a sundae is a sundae in a cool vessel (think: Kitchen Sink, Mickey’s Pants), then the only thing better than a sundae in a cool vessel is a sundae in a cool vessel on a Disney Cruise!
The Disney Dream, which went into ‘dry dock’ for some upgrades and alterations in 2015, is the (floating) place to go for Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats. And we don’t know about you, but anywhere with the words “sweets” and “treats” in the name is basically our favorite place.
In the ever-evolving, super-fun world of Disney Parks Glowcubes (that’s a thing, trust us), we’ve found the holy grail. And you don’t even need to go on a quest to get one (just take a boat or a bus to Hollywood Studios)!!
Introducing, the Brown Derby Hat Glowcube. I mean, C’MON, guys! It’s a TEENY DERBY HAT!
Look how stinking adorable that thing is. And it’s a glowcube! Whoever came up with this idea deserves a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame — the Disney version AND the real one.
You can snag one for yourself at the Brown Derby Lounge (which is restaurant-adjacent). It comes automatically in the Derby Cocktail. [Read more…]

Time for another fun tour of the awesomeness that is Epcot’s World Showcase! I like shopping there almost as much as riding Soarin’! Today, we’re checking out more fun finds at one of my favorite stops on the trip around the World — the Germany Pavilion.
As I headed back through the shops in Germany, I didn’t have to go very far before I found two different limited edition Disney and Epcot Beer Steins.
Resplendent in the colors of the German flag, the first stein depicts Disney characters against the background of the Germany Pavilion itself!
The design includes Mickey, Donald, and Goofy all dressed in lederhosen and playing instruments. The image is straight out of Oktoberfest!
Check out Donald’s cheeks! I didn’t know ducks HAD cheeks.
The second stein features [Read more…]
Happy 20th anniversary to Disneyland Paris! Just in time for happy hour, and courtesy of Maxime Bogaert with Designing Disney, we’ve been given a unique look at a special wine commemorating this celebration. Take it away, Maxime!
At the occasion of its twentieth anniversary, Disneyland Paris has launched a special “20th Anniversary Cuvée”.
The Merlot Red, Chardonnay White, and Grenache Rosé wines are served in the resort’s bars and restaurants. But guests can also purchase a bottle at the hotel shops and take it home as a souvenir (available at [Read more…]

Raglan Road has added gluten-free dishes to their menu including Scallops, Fish & Chips, and Calamari & Pasta. To create a light and crisp batter that is also delicious, the culinary team devised a gluten fee batter mix made with Champagne and garbanzo flour!
