Disney says it’s the holiday season!
From all kinds of holiday news to a hotel opening, lots of things have happened in the Disney parks over the past few days. Let’s break down what you need to know right here.
The holiday season in Disney World has officially shifted from Halloween to Christmas.
The holidays are here!
That’s meant a BIG change in decorations, treats, and merchandise throughout the parks (although we’re still seeing some leftovers from the spooky season!). We’re heading into the Magic Kingdom to check out all the new things that have arrived at this park in the last week. Let’s go see what’s new!

We love spotting new Disney World x Starbucks tumblers in the theme parks and we’ve seen some pretty cool ones with the 50th Anniversary. Now, a NEW (and very cool) souvenir is available online…but you’ll want to hurry!

It’s the holidays in Magic Kingdom!

The world hasn’t missed a beat from switching into Christmas mode right after Halloween ended earlier this week! And, the holidays bring LOTS of amazing experiences to the Disney Parks, as they have already begun to transform early for Christmas time.

This morning, we stopped by a very popular Magic Kingdom spot to try out a lunch option that’s been around for a little while, but it seems like a lot of people don’t know about it yet. It’s beginning to feel a lot like — okay, we know it’s only mid-October, but there are already holiday vibes happening around Disney World, people!

Disney is known for celebrating holidays way too early, and even though we’re in the middle of spooky season, we keep finding new holiday merchandise! We’ve seen holiday spirit jerseys, MagicBands, decor, and even Minnie ears pop up online. But, today we actually found new holiday merchandise inside Magic Kingdom!
There are some merchandise items in Disney World that just seem to be EXTRA popular.
Starbucks cups are incredibly popular in the parks!
Special collections, limited edition offerings, or even things as simple as Minnie ears. One that tends to FLY off the shelves is Starbucks tumblers — and today there’s a brand-new design available!
We’ve been busy celebrating Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, and we’ll stay busy celebrating it for the next 18 months!

And it’s been so much fun so far — we’ve seen the new EPCOT nighttime show Harmonious, as well as the new Disney Enchantment fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. We’ve eaten ALL the things (y’all seriously don’t want to know how many blue and glittery things we’ve consumed!). We’ve also kept up with all the amazing new merchandise that’s appeared in the shops!
