This event is so popular that Universal is now expanding it across the country with one location in Las Vegas! Now, Universal has released a second location for spooks and scares, and we are too excited!
August is about to be BUSY in Orlando.
If you’re heading to Disney World, you may already be planning to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which starts earlier in August. However, there’s one particular date that will be extra wild in Orlando, and if you’re in town, you’ll want to be prepared.
This is one of those theme park quirks that Disney fans live by — and Epic Universe just threw it out the window.
At Disney World, there’s an unofficial golden rule: if you get in line before park close, you’re riding. Even if the park technically closes while you’re still waiting, as long as you’re in the queue, you’re good. But Epic Universe? Yeah, they’re not playing by that rule.

We go to Disney World every day! Universal is our home away from home! We love theme parks so much that we made it our job, so we were absolutely obsessed when we heard that there’s a college hosting a theme park competition. Let’s dive in and see if you can participate too.
Universal’s Epic Universe has been officially open to the public for just about a month, with several weeks of previews before then. Over that period, the park has gained rave reviews from many, but some issues have continuously cropped up.
One of the most consistent problems to plague Epic Universe has been an environment-related Achilles’ Heel that has struck the park — and altered wait times — on an almost daily basis.
Universal has been doing some serious expanding and coming up with new theme parks and experiences all over the world.
Recently, a new Universal horror experience opened in Las Vegas. PLUS Universal is bringing a new park to the U.K. A new park, Universal Kids Resort, is under construction in Frisco, Texas. Well, we recently took a drive to Frisco to check out the latest construction progress of this new theme park, and things are moving right along.
Universal’s upcoming UK park just took another step forward!
Earlier this year, Universal confirmed the company’s long-rumored plans to bring a theme park to Europe, specifically in the United Kingdom. Now, the company has begun actively recruiting, with the Universal Destinations and Experiences website now offering a form for those interested in “future job opportunities.”

Epic Universe has officially opened (as of May 22, 2025), and the “expert tips” are already getting borderline extreme. Some of them? Genuinely helpful. But a few?
