Yeah, we don’t either. From coast to coast, we’re trying all the festive holiday treats in the parks and resorts, and now it’s time to check out a new treat that sounds like it should be a drink — but it isn’t. So, come with us to Disneyland to see what it’s all about!
Disney World recently closed its theme parks, Disney Springs, and some hotels due to Tropical Storm Nicole (which hit Florida as a Category 1 hurricane). Most operations at the Resort have now returned to normal, but a few lingering changes will stick around for a while.

When Disney World closes for extreme weather, they often adjust cancelation policies to allow guests to postpone or cancel bookings that would have taken place during the storms. This was true with Nicole, and now we have an update on how long those cancelation fees will be waived. [Read more…]
We have to admit, we LOVE when Disney World’s gingerbread displays go up, like the Grand Floridian gingerbread house that opened recently.

There are lots of gingerbread masterpieces around Disney World and best of all, you don’t need a ticket to check them out. You can stop by Disney’s Beach Club for a gingerbread carousel, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort displays a castle gingerbread! We recently saw the Contemporary display in progress, and now it’s officially completed — and you can also get some treats when you stop by!
In case you haven’t heard, The Walt Disney Company is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and during the 2022 D23 Expo, we learned just some details about what Disney was planning for the Disney 100 Years of Wonder Celebration for the Walt Disney Company.

Disney has been fairly quiet about the details of the celebration, but we do know that the Disney100 anniversary celebration at Disneyland Resort will officially begin on January 27th, 2023! And gradually, more events and information about the celebration have been trickling out!

…it’s time for holiday decorations, treats, and more! Many of the Disney World hotels have gingerbread displays available for visitors to see and buy treats from, and we’re happy to report Disney’s Contemporary Resort’s gingerbread castle has officially returned and is open for business!
We just attended Disney’s annual holiday party, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! It was full of seasonal cheer and joy, plus plenty of tasty treats.
