Changes in Disney World are inevitable — so many beloved things have been taken away while others are just being added. One of those beloved things? Disney’s Magical Express. And although it’s gone, there is still one way to reminisce about these nostalgic times on Disney World property.
2026 is bringing some BIG changes to Disney World, and we are covering it all!

Already in 2026, Disney World has permanently closed DinoLand U.S.A, rides are being refurbished, major lands are under construction, and throughout the year, we’ll get new offerings! As we said, a LOT is happening this year, but Disney Adults are hoping that even more changes will be announced soon.
If you’ve been someone who’s been going on Disney World vacations for many years, especially if you’ve stayed at Disney World hotels over the years and experienced the perks that came with your reservation, you’ve likely noticed that perks have drastically diminished over recent years.

We’ve certainly noticed it, and as sad as it makes us, there are some pretty good reasons for many of these changes that mean they likely won’t be coming back any time soon. While there are many perks that we miss, there’s ONE we feel a lot of guests agree they want Disney to bring back more than anything. If it was so beloved, why did Disney take it away? Well, let’s dive in!
We know, we know, it’s pretty exciting seeing Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, make the move to becoming the next CEO of the company and taking over after Bob Iger steps down on March 18th. D’Amaro is a parks guy, after all, and we all LOVE Disney Parks.

Well, we know a new CEO could mean BIG changes for the company, including the direction the company takes moving forward with all of its business ventures, including Disney Parks, but y’all, we hate to say this, but we think some Disney fans have some unrealistic expectations of what D’Amaro as Disney’s new CEO can and will do.
If you’re heading to Walt Disney World, chances are you’ll be flying into Orlando International Airport (MCO) — it’s the main gateway for millions of Disney guests each year.

Just stepping off the plane, seeing that iconic blue and green carpet, and you can already feel like the start of your vacation. But while MCO and Disney World are closely connected in many ways, the journey from the airport to the parks has gotten trickier in recent years — and there are a couple of big things that really need to change to make this part of the trip smoother for guests and our readers did not hold back their thoughts on this one.

But you also have to think about how you will actually GET to Disney World, especially if you are flying. After Disney’s Magical Express ended service in January 2022, we saw 2 major companies take over that role, transporting guests to and from the Orlando International Airport and their Disney World hotels (for a fee). Those main services were Mears Connect and The Sunshine Flyer. But there’s since been a change.
