You’re likely already familiar with using the My Disney Experience website or app to book your dining reservations throughout Walt Disney World parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. But did you know that some of these restaurants also offer reservations through OpenTable.com? We’ve got all the details!
Want to try booking a dining reservation through OpenTable.com? We’ve put together a list of all participating restaurants on property. While you won’t find any in-park dining on the list, there are plenty of Resort and Disney Springs restaurants available via the site.
What you need to know: My Disney Experience requires a credit card guarantee when booking an Advance Dining Reservation. If you don’t cancel by 11:59 PM the day before and don’t show up for your reservation, your credit card is charged a no-show fee of $10 per person.
But here’s a tip: If you book through OpenTable.com, you aren’t charged a no-show fee. So, this could potentially save you some money if you anticipate that you might not be able to make it (for instance, if you’re concerned about your child’s temperament within a busy schedule). But if you don’t show for three or more reservations, your email address will be blocked from OpenTable.com and you won’t be able to create further dining reservations using that address.
Below you’ll find the list of Walt Disney World restaurants which currently accept reservations via OpenTable.com. See if your favorite is on the list!

About a month before my recently completed trip, my Wife let me know she really wanted to eat at The Boathouse at Disney Springs for her birthday. I already had a 7:00 reservation at Paddlefish and tried to change it in the Disney system. Unfortunately the only available times were 4:30 & after 9:30.
I can’t tell you how stoked I was when I checked OpenTable and 7:00 was available. Boom!
I’m sure we would have enjoyed Paddlefish or The Boathouse at 9:30, but we didn’t have to.
She loved her birthday dinner!
Great info for us DFB fans!
Good work, Jeff!
I always check open table as well! I can usually get a boathouse or morimoto reservation on there if I can’t get it through Disney! Also… if u eat out a lot we always make reservations even at home bc you accumulate points for an eventual gift card! A few months ago we got $50 for our local restaurant from simply making reservations!
Can you still use dining service credits if you book through Open Table?
Anna, you can apply your DDP credits at restaurants, even if you book through Open Table! 🙂
Amanda, great tip!
Thank you for this awesome tip! We were debating about making a reservation for our departure day, but now, the stress has been relieved considering it won’t cost us $40 if we can’t make it. Another helpful tip when it comes to cancelling reservations with OpenTable, I have called the restaurant just a few hours before the reservation if I needed to cancel, and I have never been considered a “no show”. If you give the restaurant the courtesy to call and cancel, even if it is just before the reservation, you typically will not be penalized for it.
