In late 2020, Buena Vista Street reopened as an extension of Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort.
We were once again reunited with corn dogs from Award Wieners, and more! We even got to try the new Carthay Circle Lounge — Alfresco Dining experience. Bot too long after, dining was prohibited at Disneyland due to a stay-at-home order. But, the stay-at-home order has now been lifted and restaurants have started offer in-person dining again at Downtown Disney. And now Carthay Circle and 2 other Buena Vista spots have official reopening dates!
We’ve already seen other restaurants in Downtown Disney announce their reopening dates as well, including Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen and Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes, as well as UVA Bar and Cafe, and more.
So, if you’re heading to Downtown Disney soon, you’ll have some more dining options to choose from. We’ll keep an eye out for more updates regarding other Downtown Disney restaurants to see if/when they announce more reopenings. Be sure to check back with us for all the updates.
