Recently, we saw a few restaurants announce when they would reopen for in-person dining and dining reservations became available at those spots. We then shared that Carthay Circle Lounge would be reopening soon for its Alfresco dining experience, and two other Disney restaurants would be reopening on Buena Vista Street. Well, if you’ve been wanting to make reservations for Carthay Circle, the wait is over! Reservations for this Disney spot are now available.
Right now, you can visit the Disneyland Dining website or the Disneyland mobile app and make your reservations for Carthay Circle Lounge — Alfresco Dining. Reservations opened today at 11AM PST. Carthay Circle will be reopening this week on February 5th. But, if you’re hoping to eat at this spot, we recommend making your reservations ASAP, as we expect they will fill up incredibly fast!
The Alfresco Dining menu features small plates of Mediterranean-California food like tortilla soup with grilled chicken, harissa-roasted lamb, and the Carthay shrimp roll.
We got the chance to eat at Carthay Circle Lounge in November of 2020 and tried a number of different items.

Disney has shared that NEW to the menu will be a double chocolate ice cream sundae with candied almonds.
Several other Downtown Disney restaurants have also set their reopening dates, and Award Wieners and Smokejumpers Grill on Buena Vista Street are both set to reopen on February 5th. So, if you’ll be visiting Downtown Disney for some shopping and dining soon, you’ll have several spots you can potentially visit.
Keep in mind that Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure are still closed. But, Downtown Disney and the expansion of Downtown Disney onto Buena Vista Street are open. We’ll keep an eye out for more updates regarding Disneyland and let you know what we see.
20th Anniversary Disney California Adventure Park merchandise is being released soon! Check out the details here.
