We ate our way around the world during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, we enjoyed all the festivities at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, and we took in some masterpieces at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts — but now it’s time for another EPCOT fest!
That’s right! It’s springtime which means it’s time for EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! We’re ready to see nature’s beauty, hear some wonderful tunes, and taste ALL the flavors! Ready to see it all with us? Join us as we report LIVE from the 2021 Flower and Garden Fest! And follow along ALL day as we will be updating this post with every festival detail.
Festival Dates
Flower and Garden opened today (March 3rd) at EPCOT and will be available for everyone to enjoy through July 5th. So, that gives you plenty of time to make your way to this park and join in on the festivities!
Let’s get into the festival fun!
Getting Started
We arrived in EPCOT this morning hungry and ready to chow down! Of course, we took some time to admire the topiaries and signage welcoming us to the springtime fest.
First thing’s first, you KNOW we had to snag a Festival Passport. These free passports act as the go-to guide for exploring any EPCOT fest.
We’re SO pumped to dive into the fest!
It’s the first day of the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival! Make sure to follow along here and on Instagram all day! 🌸 🌺 🌼 #FreshEpcot pic.twitter.com/vgSlVETH9r

Crowds
We arrived at the park prior to opening and noticed that there were already pretty significant crowds. Take a look at the line to Mouse Gear before EPCOT was even open! Whew.
Topiaries
Some of our favorite parts of this fest are the beautiful topiaries that are scattered around. The entrance area features a few Fantasia-themed pieces like these Dancing Hippo topiaries.
The Fantasia ostriches are featured too!
These really are works of art.

…The Muppets…
…Lady and the Tramp…
…and more!

Festival Activities
The Garden Graze has returned this year. If you are able to snag all five items on the graze from around the festival, you’ll net a VERY special prize!
There are also Spike the Bee Scavenger Hunt maps for purchase. If you complete the hunt and show your completed map, you get a souvenir plate. So cool!
These hunts are super fun for kids and we would definitely call that final prize worth the cost to play.

Live Entertainment
We spotted some live entertainment while exploring the fest today! Check out the JAMMitors over at The Mill Stage!

Festival Merchandise
Of course, with a new festival comes NEW merchandise! The Orange Bird is a mascot of Flower and Garden, for sure, so you can imagine our excitement when we saw the Flower and Garden Orange Bird EARS!
These cuties are SO vibrant.

Food Booths
For us, the food tends to be the star of an EPCOT festival. So, you KNOW we were pumped to check out the all-new Sunshine Griddle booth.
Avocado Toast, Shrimp and Grits, and Brisket Hash, oh my! This booth DEFINITELY debuted with a BANG.

Last year, Magnolia Terrace was introduced and was tasty, but didn’t really wow us.

Ken says
As usual, it is awesome, at lease from what I can see on this site. I only wish I could go,but I just can see spending 120 bucks to go 9n, walk around and eat the food. Without an annual pass, it just costs too much.
