What’s Going on With Lamplight Lounge Reservations for Disneyland? Here’s What We’re Seeing

In just a few days, guests will be able to shop, dine, and walk around in Disney California Adventure Park through a special ticketed event called A Touch of Disney.

During the event, guests will get the chance to dine at some signature spots in this park, including Carthay Circle Restaurant Alfreso Dining and Lamplight Lounge. Earlier today, reservations opened up for Lamplight Lounge, but things seem to be a bit…stuck.

This morning, reservations became available online for Lamplight Lounge. So, we opened up the page to make a reservation, as we expect these things could fill up VERY quickly.

Lamplight Lounge is reopening!

When we went to the Disneyland dining website to make the reservation, we were met by the following waiting room screen. Oh boy. We have to admit, we got a bit of a flashback from the situation we had trying to get A Touch of Disney tickets.

We shared that the Lamplight Lounge reservations had opened up and that we had entered the waiting room just before 10PM (ET). It is now about 12:30PM (ET) annnnnnnd…we’re still on the SAME SCREEN. We haven’t seen any movement on the page (in terms of reservations becoming available). The page also hasn’t given us any kind of estimated wait time.

We’re not sure what exactly is causing the delay, but we expect that it is due to a HIGH volume of guests trying to get reservations for these two popular restaurants all at the same time. As of right now, it doesn’t seem like anyone has been able to snag a reservation, so this may simply be a holding page until they are released.

We’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more updates and will let you know as the situation develops.
